Doesn’t put to shame other games deflections lmao
This is so cool 😂
Imagine one Jedi could defend a planet from the Death Star by deflecting it head on, and the faces onboard seeing the laser _come back_
Bro, you cannot diss the Jedi series, and then proceed to show the BF2 2005 characters literally tweaking on meth as they spasm about, and somehow imply that THAT is better than what we have now.
Trash games so yes he can
I think the normal deflect animation for og bf2 is better than Jedi series, obviously when theres too much items it looks funny. But Jedi series deflect usually looks too all over the place for just 1 or to blaster bolts
In the new Battlefront II, I consistently say "reflect this" as a throw grenades toward Jedi or Sith. I am so glad that reflecting is a bit more toned down in the remake.
Deflecting AT-ATs pass Dark Empire vibes
Gotta love how the force user is so fast you can't even see some deflections. Luke in his prime could probably bat an AT-AT round back into the vehicle. Deflects are Luke's specialty
One of tbe funniest things from childhood was in the original Battlefront, using the orbital strike on Vader on Hoth, watching him go flying into the sky but still deflecting the beams as he was blasted away
A fantastic game was a big part of my childhood growing up
That’s why when a sith got in the field I’d go for either rocket trooper or clone marine, fire rockets near them then chuck grenades or throw down mines, with marine, chain gun until they ran out of stamina and finish them off
It's funny i will occasionally boot this game back up occasionally when I'm feeling nostalgic, and it still holds up. Literal masterpiece of a game
I remember, being an OG that the best way to defeat a Hero (JEDI OR SITH) was explosives ! Especially heavy fire shooting at they're feet dealing splash damage ; )
Weakest Legends Jedi:
There was a SW game for PS1 called Jedi Power Battles that had a super satisfying laser deflect mechanic. The rest if the game was kind of shit, but deflecting lasers was fun as hell.
Jedi were intentionally built broken in the og games. They were meant to be an award, like a scorestreak. I love how jedi play in the 2017 version, but at times it feels to easy to be killed by players compared to the original.
Lore accurate Jedi defense
OG battlefront 2 was the shit, I'd play with my buddy or my cousin and they'd get so pissed off cause I would win 9/10 times and if I ever got Darth maul my buddy would just drop the controller and walk to the store across the street from my house to get me something to drink (we'd make bets on who'd win and the winner would get either a giant big gulp of horchata with hot Cheetos with nacho cheese mixed from 711, I was in my mid teens don't judge, or a pack of smokes or the money to get them so whenever I had a craving I'd make positive to get Darth maul when in conquest or assault mode and it'd piss him off so bad cause he knew it was a done deal lol) fuckin nostalgia lol
Until a mandalorian comes in. “Oh, you can deflect lasers? Cool, try deflecting buckshot.”
SW BF2 on the PS2 is so much fun when playing online, back in the day...
I loved the OG battlefront 2. Shit was wicked.
You can use Darth Vader's choke to destroy incoming rockets too. My brother and I tested it with Chewbacca's rocket, the one that you can fire and control in 1st person view.
I just want to watch deflections with "It Has To Be This Way" in the background.
Rocket Class with instant kill mines and rocket launcher: I smell bullshit.
The deflecting in Jedi fallen order is the best. If you time it perfectly it goes back at them, but if you hold it, it just deflects it off to the sife
If you watched the original clone wars then you know that this is essentially how the chracters are supposed to move lmao. That short clip of dooku deflecting a dozen lasers is a perfect example of how the force can make its users overpowered and is completely lore-accurate.
