I remember when me and my friend played the original salvage survival, we literally got headaches from the crafting recipes, not get the items for them, but making them, still super fun though

Yes, along with several other materials to collect in order to craft a large variety of items. Tools, weapons, clothes, and even repair vehicles around the map.
