For the distance you are going I would use 3/4 “ pvc pipe and than reduce it down to 1/2” pvc pipe before you get close to the house. Good luck and god bless all of you. He’s a keeper

Can you try to move the drum near the steps so its more convinient , so it will be less steps .
So far so good progress with the water system. There are 2 way you can explore to get that extra pressure to make the water goes up to 15ft lift so it will reach that kitchen area and the small distance from the blue barrel to get there. (1). Go up further at the beginning hose input (waterfall area (up a little higher from there to increase the gravity down fall pressure and collect from there, (some pressure of the down flow of water will be lost due to the length of the hose Resistance therefore try and straighten the hose all the way down and cut off the extra hose. Make sure there is no sharp curve or kinks with the hose line. (2). The water pressure you have now it will increase a little bit in time when all the air bubbles in the hose comes out. ( you will see that increase after a day. It you do not want to do plan 1, then you can also get a pump in the blue barrel that will give you an extra lift of 15Ft pressure to reach the Kitchen (note the pump should have the output (= OR LESS) the input water that goes in the Barrel. Try any of those methods will work.
