    That is very good to hear. If you can hit powerfully and clearly without changing 10 degree and you are happy with it then no need to change. But I would like to ask you to have a go to see what happens as you have nothing to lose. If it does not work to you then you can saty with the way you are doing. Thank you for letting me know. Lee

    Dear coach Lee this video is genius and well presented. There are days when i felt like I did not know why i was smashing so good and days where I didnt know why it was so bad. Now I know its the grip ive been using this whole time not using the full power of the thumb. Thanks you sir !!

    I am truly thankful for your tips. The grip during power smash is really important point that I have missed. Thanks to your instruction, now I can smash much better.
    To those with pain in elbow: probably maybe you swing the arm too much, which twisted the muscle ? See coach Lee movements: pull elbow back, stop the racket, switch the balance from left leg to right leg, and you can smash without any pain.

    Yes there will be. The direction of shots can be steeper but it does not mean short player should lose against tall player. There always be two sides in life. As you may bit shorter then others so you may have more advantages then the tall players. Try to turn the given condition more positive advantage ellement. Lee

    Amazing! I have been playing more 'serious' badminton (NOT in a tournament competitive level personally, just with players who do have that experience) for the better part of 20 years, and though I have had a very strong smash (I am a big strong guy), I have NEVER considered changing up the grip like that. This video was amazing, I can't say it enough. I cannot wait to try this out tomorrow at the gym! :-D

  • @coachingbadminton
    @coachingbadminton  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is depending on how much space you have at that moment. If you have hight and smash from away from the net then you can follow otherwise your smash action should be compact. Lee

    You could use both and you can use one of them more then the other in different situiation. If you have more time then you can use arm pronation but if you have less time then you can use wrist more as it takes less time. Or please try both and choose the one you feel more right for you. I personally use less arm pronation and more wrist. Lee
