If haggling was an Olympic sport my wife would be a Gold Medal winner. We once saw some garden furniture made of driftwood that we really liked yet the price was 35k. Over a period of 3 days my wife kept passing by and haggling and eventually we got it for 11k. El Nido certainly looks a lot better than when I was last there. Anyone reading this take a day tour island hopping and you won't be disappointed. Great vlog.
I can never watch just once. I watch several times. Take it all in like the sun. Ave, I love how cultural you are! We are sisters. Those backpacks are ancient. It's so uniquely and historically filipino! I love how you know who you are and your roots and represent. That's authentic. I have a backpack like yours, and it's for keeps. I use it the same way, too. I don't like to imitate or copy other cultures, I am proud of mine. Represent who you are at the core, be an original, never an imitator. I tried to love other things, but I always come back home to the Islands, to my humble roots, to my people. It's my heart! Stay rooted Ave, you are the best! You shine!

Hey Martin, thanks for the great video. On my way to El Nido right now, from MNL T4 🎉 Philippines was on my list for long time, but you and Ave inspired me (influenced me) to come even more. So this is what I did 😂 We were 4 days in Bohol-Panglao, now going to El Nido. So far, we really like the people and nature is so beautiful. Amazing beaches. However, there is one thing I dont like - it is really dirty and it’s not because of tourists. We were on island hoping the other day and passed via local village, the beach and water there was out of words… plastic everywhere. Except private resort beaches - public beaches are disaster. The nature is so amazing , but locals are throwing garbage everywhere. A lot of Philipino are follwoikg you and you are both well known in the country, please raise the awarenes of protecting this amazing place. Tourists are not amazing either, but at least somehow trying to recycle, not throwing garbage ok beach etc! I hope people will follow your lead and keep it clean ❤

Ave should take advantage to buy early in the morning for buena mano,that means for Filipino belief,if a pregnant woman buys first to a seller it is a good omen,the seller believe she or he can sell a lot of their commodities.
