    136) A chopper fed de motor runs with discontinuous armature current at particular duty ratio. The current can be made continuous by

    1. In alpha=60degree why g1,g3,g5 conducting for 120 degree
    And at alpha= 120 degree g1,g3,and g5 conducting for 90 degree??
    2. Why the conduction angle of thysistors are indicated differently?
    How do i understand how much extended gate pulse should i give

      Bro, Look at AN waveform , as alpha =60 degrees , thyristors conduct from 60 degrees of AN waveform till AN first zero crossing , so till that point we get conduction , i.e. total 90 degrees

    The explanation isn't for alpha = 60 degree, instead it is for alpha = 30 degree. Correct me if i am wrong.

    Prof,why you did not explain about interval 3 & 4 how Van is minus Aab/2 and minus Vac/2?? and the most crucial point i,e how you derive the expression for Vrms .. the base value in the integration and limit of integration.?? then what is the use of this video ???
