Heavy-duty job working with iron and machinery----so, this video is a pleasany departure. i used to come home with a different hairstyle everyday bc my hair was so long and everyone wanted a turn practicing braids. this video brought back those calming memories 🥰
I actually don’t have curly/afro hair but it’s amazing to see asmr artists include different hair types, you usually just see long straight hair. Love the sounds it makes haha
@@Kody20 oh.. here i've barely seen any curly/afro hair wigs tbh. Even in hair shops where they have a lot of wigs it's rare to see the curly/afro hair, so the price for those must be over the roof

This just made me so happy bc I used to get made fun of for braiding my friends hair who had 3c & 4c hair types. There was a boy named Miracle in my middle school who would purposely sit by me so I’d corn row his hair😅 it made me so happy.
i love this soso much. in middle school i always wore my hair out because my friends loved it so much. they didn’t even complain about getting oil or leave in conditioner on their hands or anything because they knew i needed it in my hair. long story short, i love when ppl have knowledge of different hair types and how to treat them. it makes me so happy beyond words.

I deal with something similar, I have an Afro and sometimes kids will just walk up to me and literally pet me, it’s kinda weird but I’ve started to just ignore it :/

If my friends touched my hair it was always because hair was the subject or they asked. Even my own bf was like "OMG IM SORRY" when he noticed my curls would get messy when he caressed/ tugged on it by curiosity eventhough I didnt mind, so now he avoid doing it when we're out so my hairstyle dont get all off ^^ It's all about enforcing boundaries so people dont walk all over you because they then assume you're fine with it if you say nothing👍

I started graying in middle school. It was just a few in the center of my head but when I was 18, my father passed away from cancer and I got a whole bunch of it in the front and center. And recently (age 26) I started noticing it in the back of my hair. At least mine is a pretty white color.
I used to come to school with my curls super frizzy and tangled in a ponytail and a friend who sat behind me every history class would detangle it with her fingers and then braid it🥺 sometimes it would hurt a little but I always loved when she played with it. It was also funny seeing her gather up a pile of hair on her desk to throw away afterwards💀
Everybody in my class always loved playing with my hair because (mainly) I was the only person of color so I had different hair. They liked how soft it was.❤
this brings back a lot of memories. a lot of girls in my class used to ask if they could play with my hair, brush it, etc. it was really fun and relaxing😆😊

The most heart warming thing is when I was young I had lice and no body would go near me because of it. But these two really popular girls came up to me asked to play with my hair and I said 'I have lice' and they were just like 'We know, your hair looks soft.' I'm in high school and that happened in Elementary and I'll never forget it
