Such a sad to realize they are both gone. But I can say that I enjoyed and was fascinated after seeing them live 12 times. Yes will never be the same without the BEST rhythm section ever in Prog rock!
So sad! I just learned of Alan's passing. I was blessed many times over to see the band. Their Music and words carried me through many rough times. At the moment I have only tears. God blessed us all with the positive of YES. Thank you
I have sat about 5 metres away from Chris Squire playing 'The Fish'... . and when you have been in this awesome presence you realise that there is a God.
alan white is an amazing drummer and chris squire the best bass guitar in the entire universe and steve howe awsome the best that i've seen of him in a long time
there is Nothing to compare to being at a live concert Living in the San Franscisco Bay area, i have the pleasure to be able to say i got to see All the great Rock bands preform LIVE in their prime. late 60's to the mid 80's. --Rick
It looks about the size of a Strat on him, When I seen them in the mid and also lates 70’s in Philly at the Spectrum it looked like a Rick on him then.
The body of that Rick is also smaller because it had been shaved down from his late 60's "flower child" thing. He had the body shaved and repainted twice and it's likely lost about 15% of it's size. Squire being a very tall guy holding a reduced size Rickenbacker is pretty funny. I've stood next to the guy and he's very tall with big hands.
* Chris wanted YeS to continue . As a life long fan my opinion is not so . YeS ended with his departure. Today there are Tribute bands that play with more energy and excitement. ARW was fierce in comparison. Last 2 album are a drag . It sucks that his last album was so bad and dull.
I don't think the H&E album was all that bad ~but~ the current incarnation of Yes is a parody of itself. I'll never go see them live again. The energy of shows I saw is long gone and no longer do they rearrange their own music on stage for the fun of it.
Chris did not age well, should have joined a health club, done some sit ups etc. Very sad to see him like this . I hope he got right with Jesus. Jesus is lord
My life would not have been the same without these two playing together and then with yes RIP Good Fellows

Actually, the best rhytm section. Period.
Together again. Blessed be their souls. 🎛️🎛️🎛️🥁🥁🎸🎸🎸
Best seats at the stadium many years ago right behind Rick Wakeman at the yes played on
Squire and White ... prog’s finest rhythm section - now sadly both gone.
I was so sad when heard yeasterday about Alan.
Yes original members slowly leaving us.
At least i hope he can play some stuff with Chris "there".
What a great rhythm section. Celestial prog sounding from up above.
bless them.
I TRULY MISS THEM BOTH EVERY DAMN DAY.

Yeah, but nowadays gods also die :(
Ahh.
`The Revealing Science of God!!´
@@langobard5546 that's why there is Memorex..
👍😉
No he's wasn't a God. He was a well practiced man with a huge talent
I have seen them 7 times. They are well rehearsed angels.
So sad seeing my beloved musicians leaving us one after the other.
Chris and Alan, you are so much missed….!!
R.I.P. Alan. Now you and Chris are jamming on The Ultimate Stage. 😎
I was there. My face melted.
My glasses are steaming watching this. So touching.
R.I.P. Mr Squire. Chris you are SO missed my friend. ⚘⚘⚘

Amazing! Two of these great musicians don’t live anymore! But Yesmusic lives on! 👍🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much for share. Yes: genius.
Amazing music. The Best Progresive Rock band. Great solos.
What great tone from Master Squire. My all time favorite rhythm section of Rock
the most epic low E notes ever. noone did it like chris squier. :-)
still can't believe I got to see this god 3 times
RIP Chris Squire. RIP Allen White
Legends...RIP
No-one knows what happens after people leave us but I can't believe anything could ever stop these 2 doing this together, so somewhere...
Unbelieveable!!! Thanks for posting this!!!!! RIP Chris and Alan.😢
A pleasure to have been front and center at this show.
I never got to see them even once, rip Chris Squire and Alan White
Such an awesome band. All of them among the best in their class. Great performers. Blessed to have seen them .
God, his bass guitar sounds so fantastic!!! I'm so sad that I didn't know that they played in Norway in 2014. Now I will never see Squire live :(
Great line up..YES..I miss Chris Squire..R.I.P🎸
Squire was clearly past his prime here, and the over-the-top gestures give that away, as in "Look at me, bass guitar legend, about to play a note!"
Chris and Alan. I cry for you. Rip
the fish... always in space...giving pieces of peace
With all the changes of musicians, Chris was always the solid bedrock. Yes will not be Yes now he has gone.
What an amazing medley. Miss you, Chris...

Awesome. One of the greatest if not the greatest bass players ever. Gouing to see them (Yes) in March 2013 at the Horseshoe in Indiana......can't wait.
Chris Squire was, and still is - ''The Best of the Best''
One of my greatest influences as a young bass player. Jack Casidy was another.
great musicians!!
Yes in the 70s! Nothing better!
Chris Squire had no peer when he was alive, and nobody has shown that he will ever be equaled.
The ever lovely and talented: many guys' idea of the perfect pal...
SQUIRE!....................RULES!
The drum solo was the only part when music was louder than the audience.
Dos grandes leyendas que nos han dejado!
You can see here that Chris really loved playing his bass and he was so damn good at it.
Awesome video, thanks so much for sharing! I live his intro for Silent Wings of Freedom too.
2:05 For anyone researching musical instruments, the full range of a 1964 Rickenbacker RM1999 is Oooh to Ohhhhhhhhhhh
Amo lo posible y ellos lo hicieron.
I bet Chris and Rick were a blast to be around.
Squire is blasting out "Harmonics! And by the way I play a strat guitar.
RIP Chris Squire
Both gone… RIP Alan and Chris
loves it
R.I.P. Alan.
It's The Fish combined with On The Silent Wings Of Freedom
That was the best song on _Tormato_. We hear this with a bit of "Tempus Fugit" on some tours...
Chris Squire..Alan White 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Buenoooo, fantástico, ellos son.
Bravo
@poopy1239 I think it's Amazing Grace
iguais a esses nunca mais!!
Chris Squire's bass looks like a kid's bass. No he was that large of a man. RIP Chris Squire and now Alan White...

RIP :(
@mrmott44 its sad that you say that on a chris squier video when they have nothing to do with him. go spill your guts else where please
Wow, they really did become a shell of what they once were. Hard to watch
@mrmott 44 I totally disagree.
does any one know what song is played at about 5:30?
It's "On the silent wings of freedom" from the "Tormato"-album!

Images and SOUND are so bad..Sorry, probably full of love for Yes, but please , less love and more Respect.
stay away from carbs
TheEleatic Chris was a big guy to begin with.
He had leukemia
Chris did not age well, should have joined a health club, done some sit ups etc. Very sad to see him like this . I hope he got right with Jesus. Jesus is lord
He had some form of leukemia
