I love to do outdoor massage, I had one client I did at his home twice a month. The setting was on his patio, underneath a very large oak tree. One day a small sparrow landed on a branch over us, I didnt think too much about it until a coopers hawk flew in and attacked the sparrow and tore it apart right over my client. Blood, guts and feathers rained down all over his back. I spent the next ten minutes cleaning him up so I could finish. Definitly an experience I will never forget. :)

Another great massage. I have been massaged many times but I have never had an outdoor massage and have always wanted one. I fantasize about having one done in the middle of a beautiful shaded back yard garden, with no one around just me, the therapist, and the chirping birds. I have been hearing from some friends that clients are requesting outdoor massages to have better airflow and lower risk. Given our warm summer weather it seems like a great idea!

I was taught that 1st it’s better to touch the clients face first before the feet. 2nd most clients have tension on their neck & shoulders so they can start relaxing if you start there. 3rd. I follow the flow of the circulation in a circuit. 4th that’s how I learned it & it’s the easiest thing for me. It is whatever works for you it’s ok. This is just my routine now. You know I just thought of something & wanted to add that I have some clients that suffer from allergies 🤧 & they do better when you start prone so when I finish supine it gives their nasal cavities to clear up a bit. It is always good to change it up for the clients benefit.

I’m so happy to hear that it reduced the anxiety and made you feel safe. Thank you for sharing this because that’s one of the main goals for this video to help people relax & reduce anxiety. My sister us treating me on a cruise holiday later in the year and hopefully I will get to experiences some spa treatments on board, since I won't be spending a fortune on the drinks package! We have no interest in shore excursions either, the real holiday is on the ship on the sea. And when in port few stay on board, so the spa treatments are vastly discounted.

Yo así empiezo el masaje. Muchas personas empiezan con el cliente boca abajo. Es algo individual el la masajista. La razón que prefiero empezar por la cabeza es porque no me gusta tocar los pies primero y a lo último la cara. La mayoría de la tensión se encuentra en el cuello y hombros. Así que prefiero relajar esa parte primero. Gracias por tú pregunta

Maria I am a RMT student and I love your technique. Is there a reason you start the client in supine or is it just preference? Thanks again you are amazing
I was taught that 1st it’s better to touch the clients face first before the feet. 2nd most clients have tension on their neck & shoulders so they can start relaxing if you start there. 3rd. I follow the flow of the circulation in a circuit. 4th that’s how I learned it & it’s the easiest thing for me. It is whatever works for you it’s ok. This is just my routine now. You know I just thought of something & wanted to add that I have some clients that suffer from allergies 🤧 & they do better when you start prone so when I finish supine it gives their nasal cavities to clear up a bit. It is always good to change it up for the clients benefit.

I just wanted to know because in my course they always start prone but I thought your routine looked so relaxing and I like that you start with the face and neck. And when I tried it on my wife she loved it. So now if my instructors ask why I'm doing this I can give them an answer. Thanks Maria you're the best
