I have read in ET about how Gat-Shakti platform is evolved and I am amazed by the thought process of Mr Modi in asking and directing the team in architect the platform. His thought leadership is hard to match by any World class leader.
Further when we hear the analysis of all that is happening by the experts like Mr. Chandra, it is then we realize how big development-reforms India is doing.
I mean it is same as that "Indian opposition has no idea what Modi is doing and will be doing, so they are unable to create an alternative narrative", similarly Global leaders have no India about what India is doing and where will all these things take India to.

India is 142 Crore population. The Regular income group with monthly salary (Rich, Middle Class & Lower Middle class all put together) comes around 45 Crores.
The remaining 100 Crore Indians earns on daily basis without savings.
If Govt works out a formula to convert remaining 100 Crore into Middle Class & Lower Middle Class in another 10 -15 years, India will grow at consistently at 8-10% GDP for next 20 years due to Domestic consumption irrespective of Global recession. India can become 20 Trillion USD in 2040 without depending on Exports
To achieve this, India should create Taluk level or District level Food processing units, Textile parks, Leather parks, etc across India.
More over, India should implement Solid waste management, Sewage treatment system & River Cleaning in a professional way across Towns & Cities that in turn will create Crores of jobs.
The Big Corporates can't create jobs for massive 142 Crores Indians

      @soundar4270 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@varunkhugshal9049 It is like touching one's ear by hand in clockwise direction or in anticlockwise direction.
If Govt creates massive Physical infrastructures & provides huge loans to Corporates, wealth will be generated at top of the pyramid with high quality job in limited numbers. This is called Top down economy. It was adopted by USA in 1930s & in China from 1990s onwards.
BJP Govt is following this for 8 years.
If Govt spends in Social infrastructure such as Skill based education, health care facility & provide loans to MSMEs, the Poor & daily wage workers will become Lower & Middle class in 15 years time.
If the remaining 100 Crore get regular income, they will purchase Car, build own house, send their Children to Convent school & demand Good Physical infrastructure like quality Road, Railway, Airport.
This is called Bottom up economy.
28 Crore Indians become Middle class between 2004-2014. It is unfortunate, BJP is copying Chinese model. India is different

Very pertinent question, "what India can give to the world?". What Ashwani ji said is further explained by Mr Chandra. It is both direct and intangible. Therr are many many examples. About 15 years ago, US Congress passed a resolution praising contribution of indian IITs to the US economy, today we are told that 1% indians in US contribute to the 6% of US taxes. It tells the ethos and working style of indians, which means an India centric global supply chain is going to be highly beneficial to all the nations.
India offers excellent business opportunities to the world community. Name a multinational who came to India for business whether 30 years ago or last year say Apple, continue to grow happily. It is Siemens to HUL to Apple to Samsung to Hyundai to Suzuki. The list is long.
    Don't miss the train India.

Excellent programme thank you. Modiji is doing great work. However more needs to be done to control and improve the bimaru (sick) states like anti Tata West Bengal, Bihar and parts of North East to grow as fast as the others. What also wasn't mentioned is that corruption in these states needs to be dealt with very quickly and harshly and those corrupt state govts need to be kicked out asap.

Good discussion. I feel India should do much more in automating governance and it will have a cascading effect on both development and economy. Automation, i.e. reducing human interface between citizens and government officials would help reduce rampant corruption, one of the biggest banes in India. Also, better and wider collaboration between higher education institutions and industry would help in R&D efforts which have great commercial prospects, which is grossly lacking now. India has not done much to become self-reliant in manufacturing sectors with most consumer white goods still being imported from China, despite border standoff with China. Though PM Modi talks of "AtmanirbharBharat" which is nothing but his "MakeInIndia" slogan of 2014, India's manufacturing sectors haven't moved an inch in the past 2-3 years. As a result India's trade with a hostile and belligerent China instead of reducing, actually shot up by 50%. India is perhaps the most benevolent and generous adversary in the world.

Low skilled labour intensive industries like textile and automobile industry can be a boon for solving the unemployment problem of India. The recent announcement of textile parks in various states are a positive as more low skilled labour gets job they'll lift themselves up from poverty and they'll themselves churn up skilled labour for other industries a generation or 2 later.
