Let’s not drag him for one bad outing. JT does a much better job calling games except when Sanchez is pitching. I will say JT’s framing has been terrible these last 2 seasons, he really regressed there
Ranger and Chris is getting hit hard in pitches below the zone and also allowing so much soft contact. I'm still hoping they are better than their ERA shows.
The Phillies are not going to go far with Ranger Suarez in the playoffs. Right now they have Wheeler and Nola and Sanchez , enough for a short series , if they have to go seven games Suarez will be their Achilles heel.

But dudes been stellar and consistent all year he had ONE aftually bad outing. Thomson will need to carefully manage the pitching the rest of the way with Nola's inconsistency, Ranger's slip in velocity, 5th starter problems, and Walker. But all teams deal with this stuff.
@@thejorobal I’m just saying in general. Before the throw even got away and he went home he should have been sent. He was running full steam and unimpeded he could have easily made it home. During the playoffs last year dusty held some guys up and we ended up losing the game when they could have won it or stopped the team from tying it up.
