Singh bros, 1984 से ग़ुलाम अली साब को बचपन से सुनते और गाते आ रहा हूँ, में राजस्थान के एक छोटे से कस्बे से हूँ। उस समय खान साब मेरे लिए भगवान के जैसे थे, में भी कई लोगों की तरह उनसे मिलना चाहता था, 1995 में प्रोग्राम के सिलसिले में दिल्ली में मिला और चरण स्पर्श किये, लेकिन ग़ुलाम अली खान साब ने कोई ध्यान नही दिया। उस दिन मेरा भ्रम टूट गया। मैंने सोच लिया ये भी सामान्य लोगों की तरह ही है, जो सिर्फ बड़े और धनाड्य लोगों को तवज्जो देते हैं। फिर मुझे परवेज़ मेहदी टूट जाये ना भरम, याद आ गई। हां गायक तो बहुत अच्छे है। लेकिन मेहदी हसन जी और जगजीत सिंह जी की तरह गले लगाने वाले नही। कभी खान साब से बातचीत हो तो जरूर जिक्र करना। जिंदगी में ये खलिश हमेशा रहेगी।
