Fell asleep to this with my hand near my throat so I kept having weird dreams followed by short periods of waking up due to suffocation, it was cold and I was too lazy to move my hand so this went on for 30 minutes. In one of the dreams I was in a car with a guy with David's voice who kept cracking jokes while driving recklessly. Cool podcast!
Bit of lore for you boys as I guess I'm already forgotten - Imperium Press published my poetry collection as well - I think the first of the bigger 'dissident' publishing houses to dip into poetry and they have stayed strong there.
Would you mind throwing the full list of publishers in the video description or a comment for easy reference so I don't have to rewatch the whole video? Thanks in advance and thanks for the video 🙏
Passage press - took a chance on passage press hardcovers… something of the springtime was 9/10 and then I started Georgia Buddha. First story (sky burial) in there was dog shit. Haven’t read the “Georgia Buddha” story itself yet.
Ostara Publications would be an interesting one March of the Titans mid century stuff Ragnar Redbeard interesting books on experiences of explorers would have to be schizo and chud maxing
Couldn't get more schizo than Redbeard fr fr. Despicable philosophy. You mean Ostara Publications btw, "Ostara Publishing" takes you to a more normie publishing house.
I view "politics" in terms of in-group thought/opinion formation as something people can and should try to influence. But I'd agree that electoral politics are largely not a productive use of your time - especially if you engage with it by getting mad at negative media online
Please check out Improvidence at Mr. John Carter's recommendation! a.co/d/3AGjHU2
I second Cap's assessment of Bagby's voice.
Certainly a more crowded market than I initially thought.
In any other era he would be a revered warrior

Believe it or not, that's exactly the experience we were looking to create with this episode

I remember being intrigued by it (strong blurb on the webpage), but I haven't ordered from them in a long time and it's sold out now.
@@Vingul I self published a final chap book last year "Skirmishes in the Atrium" on Amazog, few essays in there as well
You're not forgotten! But poetry is a big blind spot for us generally so I appreciate you pointing that out.

Thanks for the correction!

Shoutout to the Institute for Historical Review
Tumblar House is an essential for any right-wing Catholic in America. Charles Coulombe alone makes it a must for anyone who’s a Monarchist.
Unexpected Justin Moan shout-out at 5:57. Nicely anthologized, frens. May the written word never perish but go to new Fahrenheits.
Cheers! And something tells me we'll see him in print again before it's all said and done.
A pseudo-novella? Yeeah.. that's what we call an "overnight novel."
Short storylets could never comprehend!

You can find the full list here (except for Rage and semiotext I think): x.com/thecapitalisimo/status/1875968226439692547
Thanks for putting this resource together!
Our pleasure!
I owe semiotext(e) a debt for publishing all the English translations of Peter Sloterdijk's works.

@@thecapitalisimo hell yeah player. good video btw.
Informative.
Pizzaspin making me hungry (for content)
Wonder where a project like Canonic would land on this when most of their books are just passage press books.
Can you link me? I'm unfamiliar and a search didn't result in anything
