I was 8 when the first film came out, I loved it already. The second film was much more amazing. I was 12 then. Now that I’m 17, I’m going to really miss this franchise.
When First part of HTTYD came out in theatres , I was 10 years old. When Second part of HTTYD came out in theatres , I was 14 years old. When Third part of HTTYD came out in theatres , I was 19 years old. But , Fourth part of HTTYD came out in web series before my 20th Birthday.
Honestly, HTTYD3 was done properly in bringing everyone and everything closure. The people with me at the theater cried once those credits finished with no post credit clip. Would I love a #4? heck yeah. But, for the integrity of this awesome storyline, it must end here.
Couldn't have said it better. As amazing as it would be to visit our beloved characters one more time, it's unfortunately time to give their story a rest and explore new things. It's more bittersweet than it is sad. Of course, it sucks that this could be the end as far as httyd franchise movies go, but it's better to end off in a way that it did rather than continuing to produce httyd movies until one bombs. I'm glad the series is being (allegedly) put to rest in a proper way.
i am hoping for a mini series like race to the edge, i think it allow everyone to visit the characteres again witout ruining the amazing ending of the third movie

I was 17 when the first movie came out in 2010. and I strongly agree with Jay & America, I didn't expect the series to be this worldwide success almost as much as Frozen. Thank you Hiccup and Astrid for all you have done for us the fans. We will miss you dearly.

Got me crying the first time I saw hiccup say goodbye to toothless. Definitely one of dreamworks BEST, most heartfelt, so amazing done, animated type of show. It’s just. So. FREAKING GOOD. Got me crying for sure coz i felt like I connected to hiccup and Astrid and i just loved the bond between the entire group from the twins all the way up to hiccup. It’s truly insanely incredible. I’d defend this movie as the best movie in our world. If i ever got the chance to talk to Dean deblois the producer I’d argue for a 4th movie, but way way longer like 3 or 4 hours. If that would be the actual last. I’d sit through all of it. WE STILL NEED MORE HTTYD!!!! god it’s so good.

I have the movie disc for the #1 and the second and third one I went to the theaters to watch them and the last one made me cry. it is weird, i am turning 25 soon and just discovered this whole franchise a few months back but i absolutely love it. i've watched the movies a bunch of times already and even started the 5th run through the whole series yesterday. it gives me such a feeling of beeing home; just watching them beeing friends on adventures with these amazing animals. maybe they were right, humans didn't deserve dragons yet but who knows, maybe eventually humanity will be ready for them again in a few years. wouldn't that be great.

I think that they should make a film about Toothless and the light fury’s life at the hidden world. They could make a movie where the secret of the hidden world is threatened by some type of force and Toothless, along with the light fury and their babies, lead the rest of the dragons into an epic dragon battle
Dude this is crazy we had the same idea! Just that in my idea toothless goes and searches for berk and hiccup hurted and bruised and gets everyone to help them and they fight an epic battle together, and they come to conclusion that no one will ever be safe no matter how much and where they hide, someone dragons will be found and threatened and without hiccup and the whole berk crew’s help they cannot survive fighting on their own, this concluded to hiccup being wrong thinking hiding was the best option for them to be safe, and finally figure out that theyve always belonged together. If u ask me this seems legitimate great idea for HTTYD 4 plus hiccups kids would be probably around 12-15 and learn how to train their dragon...

I don't have any doubt on film franchise , but I loved the T.V. Show , which was the inner story of HTTYD 2 . But , I'm proud that both the celebrities are best known for HTTYD franchise , where they made a great identity from their voice in Main Role form . i love this franchise so much but a fourth movie would kinda be watering it down like everyone’s saying. The third movie was made to be the very very end of this whole series, so it wouldn’t be appropriate to carry the story on, sure if HTTYD: The Hidden World was different then a fourth instalment would be great but unfortunately that’s not the case. On the other hand I would love to see a prequel sorta like Race to the Edge except its a short film instead that’s set in the year between HTTYD 2 and the third movie but obviously the chances of that happening are slim to none
