I can’t put into words what mac means to me. He was playing during some of my favorite memories and some of my worst. He got me through homelessness, addiction, abuse, deep depression. He gets me through it everyday. I never got to meet this man or see him live. But he touched me in a way no one else could. Just through his music. What a fucking legend. This has to be one of the most depressing songs I have ever heard, because during my worst times with depression, a lot of the things he tells to himself, sounds like what I tell myself during those times. Not only that, but he lost his battle with depression too, and that could potentially could be me in the future if I don't help myself towards those moments.

Anyone out there thinking about taking drugs needs to remind themselves, most cocaine/heroin these days is actually just fent/meth or at the very least laced with it. Avoid these drugs at all cost, and if you can't, PLEASE test your drugs. All it takes is one bad batch and you're done.

I remember hearing Good News and Self Care for the first time back during Covid, I was only 13 and I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. I immediately fell in love with his music, what he talked about, and just who he was as a person. A few days after I found out about his music, I was heartbroken to find out he had died. Someone so amazing, so talented, and so genuine. I kept listening to the songs I had found from TH-cam, and it really helped me push through what I had been going through in the moment. A few months ago, I had gone through a bad break up and recently got back into his music. I listened to every album, every mixtape, and looked at all the love and support this man gave to so many of the other artists and people around him. I can barely find any bad things about him, and all I've seen is so much love and so many good words about Mac and what he's done for this world. I don't think I can go through this whole song anymore without crying or tearing up. Mac's legacy will live on forever. Thank you Mac. Your music has helped me and so many others through some of the toughest times, and we're so grateful that we were able to have someone as amazing as you on this earth. May you rest in peace brother. Somewhere out there, there was that girl who didn't care about his success or his money , his fame or his stuff. There was a girl somewhere that loved him wholeheartedly. He just couldn't reach her.

I was never really a diehard fan of mac until he dropped Swimming. I had heard some songs off Faces and Divine Feminime some years before and I found him to be a really talanted artist, but when he dropped the last album I felt some kind of connection, like he and I was going through sort of the same things, dealing with addiction, heartbreak and growing up. His music stuck with me daily for that entire month, until I was rushed to a rehabilitation center for a week without any access to the internet. When I stepped off the train on my way home I checked my phone to see articles about Mac passing, and even though I never met the dude, or even knew that much about him, my heart just sank through the floor, like when one of the homies is pronounced dead. I can't imagine how his family and long time fans was feeling that day... Mac helped me alot that month and has kept helping me ever since by staying in my ears with his beautiful music, so when I heard his last album is about to drop it just made me so happy, knowing thats what he wanted. And sad because it's probably the last we'll ever hear from him... I don't know where I was going with this comment, but I just wanted to say that whatever you're going through at this moment, it's okay... Life sucks sometimes, but that doesn't mean it has be over, I've made huge progress from the shittiest year of my life and I know you could do so aswell. I love yall, please take care of yourselves.

I remember hearing Good News and Self Care for the first time back during Covid, I was only 13 and I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. I immediately fell in love with his music, what he talked about, and just who he was as a person. A few days after I found out about his music, I was heartbroken to find out he had died. Someone so amazing, so talented, and so genuine. I kept listening to the songs I had found from TH-cam, and it really helped me push through what I had been going through in the moment.
A few months ago, I had gone through a bad break up and recently got back into his music. I listened to every album, every mixtape, and looked at all the love and support this man gave to so many of the other artists and people around him. I can barely find any bad things about him, and all I've seen is so much love and so many good words about Mac and what he's done for this world. I don't think I can go through this whole song anymore without crying or tearing up. Mac's legacy will live on forever.
Thank you Mac. Your music has helped me and so many others through some of the toughest times, and we're so grateful that we were able to have someone as amazing as you on this earth. May you rest in peace brother. Most dope

I was never really a diehard fan of mac until he dropped Swimming. I had heard some songs off Faces and Divine Feminime some years before and I found him to be a really talanted artist, but when he dropped the last album I felt some kind of connection, like he and I was going through sort of the same things, dealing with addiction, heartbreak and growing up. His music stuck with me daily for that entire month, until I was rushed to a rehabilitation center for a week without any access to the internet. When I stepped off the train on my way home I checked my phone to see articles about Mac passing, and even though I never met the dude, or even knew that much about him, my heart just sank through the floor, like when one of the homies is pronounced dead. I can't imagine how his family and long time fans was feeling that day... Mac helped me alot that month and has kept helping me ever since by staying in my ears with his beautiful music, so when I heard his last album is about to drop it just made me so happy, knowing thats what he wanted. And sad because it's probably the last we'll ever hear from him...
I don't know where I was going with this comment, but I just wanted to say that whatever you're going through at this moment, it's okay... Life sucks sometimes, but that doesn't mean it has be over, I've made huge progress from the shittiest year of my life and I know you could do so aswell.

honestly i didn’t hear about mac until he died but i heard his music before, and after his death his music just kept helping me get through shit for the longest time, so i know what you mean, and i’m so glad that you got of addiction, please stay out of that shit for the love of god. the whole album became background music for my everyday since it came out
I just put it on and it compliments the melancholy of everyday routine perfectly, it just became a part of my day to listen to some of them songs already
