My second favourite kitchen in the world after Monica's kitchen. I hope my kitchen looks like this one day. I love how everything doesn't look the same and all white.
Hi Shaye, Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your pantry organization process with us. I love how you said you can do one area…or a little bit at a time…and it really can make a difference. That makes the entire process feel so much more manageable!! I am really enjoying watching your channel. What a beautiful homestead you have! I learned about you watching a video by Angela over at Parisienne Farmgirl…which is another charming channel! It’s delightful to see you both homeschooling because I was a homeschool mom also! My son is grown now, but I have such wonderful memories of those homeschool days. Thank you for all the lovely videos you share! Love and God Bless, Mary
I love how you make the simple and what can be mundane so beautiful and effortless. You truly bring beauty and value to being a homemaker, then put it on display for all the world to glean from. Thank you!
PS - Now, please explain why your Dutch oven & pots are not marred by the black cooked on “seasoning” (lol!) like mine. Haha, I sure would like to clean mine up!
LOVED the final product shots at the end! Gorgeous photography first of all, and also super satisfying to get a good look at the fruit of the labor. Makes me feel like I'm really there :)
Very inspiring! I am always telling myself that I will remember what is in the jars and I never do lol Those pesky pantry moths... For years I kept throwing away flour, beans and grains etc and then I found those pantry moth traps on Amazon. They're inexpensive and they work amazingly!
Let me just say I’ve just found gosh videos for the first time and LOVE the excitement each commenter has for you and gosh videos. It’s so refreshing to see people excited and kind on TH-cam over things that have undeniable meaning. Excited to be a new subscriber!
Lovely....the warmth of your kitchen, the organizational tips are very smart, the ease of how you prepare good food, using the nicest utensils. I love your style of home and healthy lifestyle. You are inspirational. Thank you! :)
Just cleaned out my pantry as well. Holidays on top of every day cooking and my shelves needed a refresh and quick inventory/assessment too. There is beauty and joy in refreshing your work space.
That is on my to do list this year, a pantry make over and clean up. Thank you for all the great tips. It feels so satisfying to have a work place work to your benefit. Again, your wonderful and thankful.
Oh my, I saw the Lidia cookbook right off. I have a couple of her books and love them😊 I always enjoy watching and learning new kitchen tips from you. A batch of sour dough is on the counter for tomorrow. I rewatch your sour dough video s often.💛
A few years ago I dehydrated some mushrooms, and just didn’t like the way they rehydrated (got very rubbery) so I made them into powder. Y. U. M,!!! And very picky kid friendly.
Love this! I was decanting before it became trendy…All it took was an ant invasion! I needed to better seal/ protect my food, and yes it does look prettier too! 😁 If I have room in my fridge I even keep my compost bin inside it!
Love a peek in people's pantry. 😊 Wonder if a piece of wood to set some of the herb jars on to stagger them would make your pantry even easier. Your kitchen is a working kitchen, full of fabulous herbs and ingredients that you can magically combine ( especially in all that beautiful copper) to create amazing dishes. ❤❤
Timestamp 12:20 I have those exact same ½gallon jars from Azure and some of them are full of hazelnuts too 😅 They finally have 1gallon jars in stock after 2yrs of them selling out so I have 2 cases coming on Mondays delivery 🥰 I'm so excited for 1gallon jars lol. . . Oh the little joys. I totally adore your whole family and keep you all in my prayers. Many blessings in this new year to all of you in your ventures ahead ❤️ I know you'll all face them with grace and poise.
An Elliot video, Hi’ New year time to get organize .. have to work on mine .. thanks for the inspiration! love your kitchen and your rustic basket for Snacks ..! Oh and the Best part your soup 🥣 & Bread 🥖😋
Ohh dear, you've just moved this task from bottom of my to-do list to the top. Thank you for the inspiration and tips! Wonder if a lazy susan turntable organizer will fit on your bottom pantry shelf? I've found it a most helpful gadget for reaching and storing oils & vinegars that I transferred to smaller bottles from bulk container (@Amazon).
I spy some Farmhouse Tea ;) Looks like it needs a flavor refresh! Hey, what at the other books next to your Einkorn cookbook? And are you going to share the story about the blue antique cabinet some day? Its beautiful!
Love your videos, kitchen layout & recipes. I noticed you drained the water off your bean that they soaked in & then used plain water with the stock when getting them ready - wondering why you would not save the water the beans soaked in? It would have some of the flavour of the beans plus saving on water.
Where did you get the big plastic container with the measurements on the side? I’m looking for one like this for marinating or brining. Thank you! Great video!
Do you ever get mold in your maple syrup? I have some from Azure that I had in my pantry, but a white mold grew on it. Thankfully, I discovered the mold is not harmful, so I strained it out and now refrigerate the maple syrup.
I L🌺O🌺V🌺E your kitchen! I hope to get this organized someday soon. I've bought a digital scale and Einkorn flour from Jovial Foods. We are between states. We hope to sell this home, our children are all adults now, so I looking forward to the next journey. I look forward to a functional, beautiful kitchen. 🤎
Hi Julie I have the same butcher block from Lowe’s but it’s my entire kitchen counter…I love it. When first installed every night for 3 nights I coated it with mineral oil…then I did it once a week for a month or so..now I coat it once a month at night and wipe it down in the morning…I’ve had it almost 2 years and just love it
@@charlottesesco8795 Thank you for these detail. I’ve admired Shaye’s butcher block counter but never noticed her chopping on it till now. I often just listen instead of watching. 🥱 Great to know; thanks again. Julie 🌷
She said in one of the tours that she’s not too fussy with it and it’s relatively easy to swap out if it gets too beat up every couple years (if I’m remembering correctly). I loved the idea so much I ended up buying some from Lowe’s and it covers my pantry drawers.
@@Elparker28 I was ready to buy butcher block countertops for my entire kitchen but someone cautioned me about the wood around the sink probably rotting. Eek! We cook from scratch 3 meals a day plus snacks and desserts. Do these counters require kid gloves treatment? Thanks for sharing.
How do you touch the handles of your pot while it’s cooking? Are your hands super tough or do the Made In pot’s handles just not get that hot? Also I love your beautifully beige pot;) haha
Maple syrup/sugar is a low acid sugar. Maple is a low processed sugar and contains lots of vitamins and minerals. While cane sugar doesn't have any nutritional value and is refined. Even raw sugar isn't healthy for the human body. Sugar should be consumed on occasion like all other sweet items.
this was a bit hard to watch. all the PUFAs in the seeds and the cooking oils. the seeds of plants have a purpose and it's not to feed humans, but to produce a new generation of plants. no seeds for snacking and cook with animal fats

Smoked paprika will give the flavor of ham in a soup. Learned this from other vegetarians while living in Spain yrs ago.

Nova Maple Sugar is the best! They are a couple hours away from us here in PA, and that's pretty much the only sugar I use, except on holidays.
You seriously need to have your own show on food network. Beautiful content TFS🇨🇦🥰
There would be no more yt then. Networks require all creative stuff end unless they are in control.
