    Hi. Can kindly guide if i can eliminate the baking powder and if baby cereal is a must? Can i replace it with something else and what would you propose as replacement? Thank you.

    Does it have to be pre-made baby cereal? Or can I make my own, with barley for example?

    Hi, can I use oatmeal cereal instead of rice in your recipe? Will it still be crispy?

      Hi! Sorry if I didn't mention it in the video. Store them on the countertop in an air tight container with some paper towel inside that will absorb any moist for up to one week. You want the puffs to stay crispy for as long as possible.

    I just recently subscribed to your channel, your recipes are great! Btw, we tried those puffs but they end up not puffy at all, a bit chewy. Did everything on the recipe:/ help?

    Why is the cooking time and egg yolks different than the apple and kale? I tried this recipe with pureed mango and pureed greens (Beech Nut JUST baby foods, so no added water) but they were hard as rocks. Help! Can I use this baby food?

    Buonapappa Can you use premade babyfood jars to make puffs?

    • @Buonapappa
      @Buonapappa  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Very good question. I never tried but you can use them in substitution of the fruit/veggies. You will always need as extra ingredient a binding element (eggs..) and a leavening element (baking soda). I'm very curious. Let me know if you try it!! ciao, b

    Can we use sunlight to dehydrate the puffs?

    • @Buonapappa
      @Buonapappa  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Good question. Unfortunately it's not strong enough, you need a heating source that will shorten the dehydrating process to max 4/5 hours. If you leave them under the sun it will take more than a day and bacteria will start growing. That was a creative solution indeed. I assume that at a very high heat (desert style, more than 102F) the method might work! Ciao! b
