I've come across a couple issues following this onscreen pattern.. You don't mention how to end each row, so I would just slip stitch into the first stitch of the round and chain 1, before starting next row.. And (row 13, i think) you mention a decrease in next 2 scs.. Do you mean sc2tog? Or to skip these stitches?
You have to get rid of it just like anything else they chew and damage. I'm about to make another cocoon after spotting a large hole 😔.. (ps, I use natural garden string/twine for my cocoon)
I’m doing the same as you,, instead of chaining 10 sc,, do 20 sc. it will make it larger and you can still follow their video to continue making it ❤ I hope this helps
I don’t think it’s for Syrian hamsters, only dwarf hamsters. Maybe they will make another for Syrian of u choice change the pattern slightly anyways :)
I'm currently working thru this pattern using garden twine/string with a 9mm hook, so I'm still following the same pattern but it works up bigger (I also have a syrian hamster!)
This is a nice idea, I will try this for our new hamster

What if they chew on it?
