    Oxnard maybe wasn’t his best album, but tracks like cheers, trippy, tints really sets the bar. I love both albums. This guy is a truly talented artist. And listen to his song with 9th wonder🔥🔥🔥🔥

      Bruno appreciates Paak cuz he's a fellow multi instrumentalist, drummer, singer, writer, performer who draws from different era and genres but mainly popular soul music. Paak brings Bruno down to earth. Paak is a family man and you can tell Bruno is kind of a lonely superstar type.

    • @yolo3718

      @OJ T yes, definitely get the vibe that Bruno benefits from collab with AP in ways that go beyond the music. Seems like they are really good friends and really respect each other. Every time I see them together they are both laughing and cutting up like old besties.

      @@terrancemcclendon456 yes, Bruno appreciates Paak, but I feel like his fans still don't give Paak his just due. They still refuse to educate themselves on the discography and continually downplay his significance to Silk Sonic. It pisses me off actually.

    Two excellent interviews with AP. You all were so comfortable and made an hour long interview entertaining from beginning to end. I prefer Ventura as well, but definitely some bangers on Oxnard-Saviors Road, Tints, Anywhere, and Trippy. He has an outstanding discography and watching him LIVE often brings so much of his music to life.

    • @ilexx876

      Nah the album just wasn't that good. There were some good tracks but as an album it was a departure from who Anderson .Paak is. Or at the very least, who he presented himself to be. Most of his fans felt it immediately. Plus, u can tell Oxnard wasn't that good based on how much better Ventura is than Oxnard.

    • @robbinhatchett4179
      @robbinhatchett4179 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ilexx876 Yes, I totally agree, with Oxnard it was more Dr. Dre than it was Anderson. Now, even with songs like Tints, My brother's keeper, Trippy, and Cheers, that was the typical Anderson sound that we got off of Malibu and Venice, but as an album in it's entirety, it felt more like a Dre project featuring Anderson. Instead of it being a 50/50 effort from the both of them, which is why Anderson was so quick to announce and put out another album within the span of a few months of Oxnard coming out, because he knew that his core fan base was not going to fully enjoy that project. Now we have Ventura, which is Anderson going back to Doing Anderson!!

      @@robbinhatchett4179 Dude had this album in the tuck already. He planned to release two albums already. There's no way he had this album recorded in 3 months after Oxnard. He obviously had these songs ready to put out. Plus Dre only produced 3 songs off of Oxnard, people use that talking point without thinking about it. 6 summers is paak, so is the chase, tints, saviers road (produced by 9th wonder), anywhere with snoop sounds exactly like paak

      Imagine if NWA was starting to bubble and Quincy Jones decided that he wanted to be involved, and in the studio talking about about this "take out the drums" and "add some strings" or "Dont talk bad about the police"...NO! leave it ALONE...it was perfect the way Dre created it.
      That was Malibu, sounded NOTHING like anything out there and was damn near perfect in every way. That's HIS sauce.
      Back off and just let Anderson Paak do Anderson Paak.. everything don't need the "Dre" touch. It worked for Eminem, but didnt work for Rakim.
