What a time to be a collector We had such a great time picking up sports cards, trading/buying deals for slabs, hanging with collectors, and enjoying the hobby. I was able to get some huge sports card pickups at my 3rd national. The experiences and quality over quantity served its purpose. Overall the only card I didn’t walk away with was a Patrick Mahomes Autograph, but hope to grab one in the future. Mojo, let me ask you an honest question. Is it better for you to sell thousands of $1 -$5 cards in whatnot or flip fewer $100-$500 cards? Is there a larger audience for the cheaper stuff? Just curious. Looks like a lot of work selling 20,000 cards. You rock my man. Love the content. Buy some comic books.
I prefer $1-500 for whatnot. The market doesn’t serve me at 1000+. I’ve lost too much money in deals with those. I do those deals at shows mainly. It all depends tho. I prefer $2-250 in the market right now

Get whatever condition graded at the best price you can that’s the cheapest and my favorite way to do a set grab what pops up cheap sgc BGS Psa who cares as long as it’s slabbed and a good deal!
If you LOVE the 86-87 Fleer set, go fpr an 8-9 graded set WITH a Jordan. Just start using flip profits, and put some in a metaphorical jar, and do every card, except Jordan, and go for MJ at the next National.

My main PC are Booker and Barkley, just started getting some baseball, mostly Jake Burger, I dunno much about the MLB but I'm the only person buying Burger cards off Aus eBay, so gives me the opportunity to get my picks of the bunch and good prices. Another great video, so many nice cards
Rent a RV and travel across the country to Cleveland. You can stop at all the different cities ok the way and make content visiting card shops and sleep on the RV to save money on hotels.

I own the 1970 Topps basketball tall boy and I’m 5 cards away from completion. I bought the Kareem (Lew) graded but I’m torn on grading the whole set when they won’t be top grades. To get the registry it might be worth it, but I think grading sets could be a mistake since it might make it more difficult to move down the road.

I hate to say it, but the more I go to the national every year, the more I end up hating it. The dealers are mostly terrible and overpriced by 30 percent and don't care about making deal. That basically means they are praying on uninformed buying their cards. They try to sell futures too. A kid would easily be taken advantage of. The best part and best deals are LITERALLY the trade nights and deals in the lobby with imo the real ppl in the hobby. Not trying to be negative but I know how to negotiate and I've been doing this for a long time, but this one was by far the worst for actually buying and finding deals. That's all from my experience though, maybe everyone else's was different.

People just don't understand that you can't really profit too much if someone has already popped. Speculation is for late round guys you can buy for under $10 and hit for $150 or more. Example: Braun for the Nuggets and I did that for Justyn Ross recently. I just watch the videos because I can't understand how you guys make a living doing this and where the money comes from. I’ve been doing this since I was 14 and trust me…. There’s a price for everything and time to move it if you have the right systems and clients to buy. There’s always way to make money. But obviously you lose it too if you don’t know what your doing. I’ve invested half my life into the hobby. The other side: collecting is priceless. I’ve got enough to just collect as well. I flipped and sold autographs and cards to get to this point. It’s all a system of rinse and repeat

I hate to say it, but the more I go to the national every year, the more I end up hating it. The dealers are mostly terrible and overpriced by 30 percent and don't care about making deal. That basically means they are praying on uninformed buying their cards. They try to sell futures too. A kid would easily be taken advantage of. The best part and best deals are LITERALLY the trade nights and deals in the lobby with imo the real ppl in the hobby. Not trying to be negative but I know how to negotiate and I've been doing this for a long time, but this one was by far the worst for actually buying and finding deals. That's all from my experience though, maybe everyone else's was different.

People just don't understand that you can't really profit too much if someone has already popped. Speculation is for late round guys you can buy for under $10 and hit for $150 or more. Example: Braun for the Nuggets and I did that for Justyn Ross recently.

I’ve been doing this since I was 14 and trust me…. There’s a price for everything and time to move it if you have the right systems and clients to buy.
There’s always way to make money. But obviously you lose it too if you don’t know what your doing.
I’ve invested half my life into the hobby.
The other side: collecting is priceless. I’ve got enough to just collect as well.
I flipped and sold autographs and cards to get to this point. It’s all a system of rinse and repeat
