Kiln Opening! Pottery hedgehogs are glazed.

We were blessed by the Kiln Gods! Amazing results for both Hobble Creek Pottery and @NightCraftCo with the cone 6 glaze Kiln firing. Glazes showcased are Clayscapes, Mayco, Amaco, Opulence, and Midnight Ceramics.

6:20 I think on the pigs Mayco Pink Opal better then Mayco raspberry mist. Less red undertones more of a true pink. This was looks a bit to red. Maybe is your tried honey flux under the raspberry mist you would like that outcome better. The hedge hots and pigs are so cute. I love the chip and dip bowl from Nightcraftco. If she is willing to I would like to see a tutorial. BTW my hubby talked me into a laser cutter by saying he would make me rolling pins. He has kept his word I have some great pins. Great kiln opening. 😊

What a successful firing; doesn't always happen right before a sale. Congratulation to both of you. I agree with you about the raspberry piggy. Just found a really great pink: Laguna Sang de Boeuf. Hope you give it a try.

I had to pause to go check out Midnight Ceramics glazes because I'd never heard of them, and that Stringbean color is so wonderful. They have some really amazing colors! The hedgehog banks are ADORABLE! The raspberry pig appears to have spent the day at the beach and gotten a "redhead's tan".

Do you have any examples of Clayscapes pacific blue on terra res? I just ordered pacific blue and I have Hawaiian red clay, both are new to me. I love the way your terra red fires. Hoping my red fires similarly
