To me his face is 95 % which is not a problem for me , every one I know that's seen mine are blown away by how good it is , not one person mentioned the seam in the jaw line . P.s great video
The brow isn't perfect. After seeing Arnie Kim's work on his PF Superman, everything else I see is compared to that. But that's a custom piece and maybe triple the price of this. So, for the price point, it's ok. Much better than their previous one
So sorry, but the warnings were there in the beginning, people said it was bad, sideshow did not listen…. No matter the room or setup or the lighting or whatever, this is just all around bad. Sideshow messed up here..

Maybe due to Christopher Reeves get older in age..that' s why his face look a little bit skinnier on Superman 4 than he was in Superman the Movie ( superman 1 and 2 ). But all in all that figure still is very clear typical of Christopher Reeves..It is so amazing.
I actually have seen the reeves version of the cape and I can say they actually have the s symbol correct. If you have seen it’s the lines are just like that where the yellow is outside the line and sort of sloppy I guess to give it the look like it was hand made. So yeah sideshow did not mess up.

Front view doesn't look like Chris Reeve. Side view is good. The problem overall is poor quality control especially if made in China. Overall not worth the money they are asking for due to many issues with this statue. Oh and BTW the S shield should be silk screened and not an iron on for this price point. Unacceptable.

The seam can be covered by cosmetics but the quality isn’t up to the prototype. Christopher reeve deserved better. I feel that the call to action Superman was a much better piece with passion behind it
@@magonzal70GONZO Well it’s easier to do comic based portraits because you don’t have to worry about getting a perfect likeness of the actor which is really really hard to do and probably why they went with pvc instead of raisin for the head. The only way you are going to get the a great likeness especially on a 1/4 scale you are going to have to pay a premium price up in the thousands like Queen studios and they have to use silicone to help with the likeness

That statue does not look like Christopher Reeve at all. Looks like another actor forgot his name But not Christopher Reeve. Sloppy job on that Superman. Watch out Sideshow Tweeterhead are doing a phenomenal job.
Its such a Shame that SS couldn't give us what was firstly promoted...the Paint Apps are very poor, the Symbol should be part of the Fabric not a Heat Transfer...over time that will start to lift and for what you Paid its just not on. The Sculpt looks great from the side but that's it...your Bust is Absolutely 💯% better than this but this Sculpt I'm sorry isn't even close to your Bust. I'm Disappointed and I won't be getting this and I just hope a Company does my Childhood Superman Justice...but in saying that Congrats if you picked him up

Is the body and neck Polystone , I believe the face sculpt might be pvc. Which why there is a seam and is attached to the polystone , but I’m not sure

Contact Rafael Robelo Jr on his channel, he can fix that seam and lay down a good paint job.

The likeness is about 80% but not exactly like Chris, the other defects sloppy work, especially at the cost 🙄

It’s weird, they do much better with comic based pieces than movie pieces. No idea why. But anything Chris Reeve they should know the bar is very high
