Hi UB team.
Putting this on top- my main question is that my UB account currently is just for payroll purposes. Idk if it'll close eventually if I leave the company, so do i have to create a separate account for this citibank transfer? Since as i understand, only one mobile number can be used per account, and this is my only one.
As someone that uses both UB and Citi apps, the Citi interface was already way seamless than UB.
I hope you can just retain the old app. Since this is an issue of finance, it doesn't seem like this transition will be smooth given that all your FAQs are outdated and still refer to this transition as "end of Q2" - while the Citi app already isn't accessible at this moment.
UB is also inaccessible at this moment so I may create an account and access my card bills.

It says invalid account number when I click account if I click credit card it says we cannot use the details you have provided at this time. Hirap mag register sa app Ng union bank
It’s now working . I was able to add it today. Maybe still not available with some accounts due to the update.
04/04/2024 still cannot register. Tutorial is easy but it’s not working with my Citi credit card.
You should also create a video on how to add your Citi card into an existing UB profile. I almost created a new profile which may become a duplicate profile. I don't want that.
Just click the Add to enroll your Citibank credit card to your existing UB profile. The problem is I don't know where to view my Citibank credit card SOA to the UB Mobile app & in their website.

Registered successfully. I have a Citi Simplicity CC and I actually do not have any UB account at all. I just followed the instructions in this video to "Sign Up with Existing Account" and it worked for me. It even recognizes/detects my citi account username and asked me if I still want to use it (I changed my username instead) and set a new password (different from my citi online/app account/login).
I registered at 2am of March 22nd not sure if this has any bearing with my successful registration. 🤷♀️

You have to have an existing UB online account to add your Citi cc. Tried adding mine without logging in and I get this error too.
Before launching announcements I hope your dev team test this and see if it works. Sobrang hassle ng paulit ulit nyo na announcements di naman ma add mga card number namin.

I tried adding my two old but active Citi credit cards 2 days ago and today. I'm still unable to create a UB account. Errors: "invalid credit card number." and "we cannot use the details you have provided at this time." for the other card. Hoping this will work the next time I attempt to create the UB account.
it worked for me, but instead of 'credit card' select 'atm card' enter the 16 digit no of your atm card of your newly delivered union bank debit card

Hindi naman maka pag register sa UB account hirap tuloy mag bayad. strategies yata ito para madami yun mag multa at kumita sila. Ilang araw na ko nag paparegister yet wala padin ayaw mag register. hindi gumagana yun 16 card digit no. ng CITI to UB account. nakakayamot lang. parang hindi pinag isipan yun magiging volume ng registration at trouble sa online registration.

Edit: finally was able to add my old citi just to try, but it's an old card, and when it was addes, it showed my mispelled full name, which cannot be modified. my new citibank issued 2weeks ago could not be added. So it is useless. Added an old blocked card na may mispelled name na hindi ma edit, tapos yunf new card ko, di ma add, eh naka lock yun sa citi app para di ma hack. So pano na?! Sobrang bulok.

You need to check the number you posted online. It’s embarrassing na yung number niyo hindi niyo chine check. I never had an issue with Citibank and I’m a long time customer of them. I tried calling din the local number, walang option to talk to someone or cancel an account. So paano yan?

Indeed, not working, neither with the "newly issued" UB debit/ATM card number, nor with the existing Citi credit card number. The first yielded "Oops, service is not available at this time", the second "Oops, we're doing system maintenance". This despite being told to set up the new profile now to be ready for the migration. Not a confidence-inspiring start!

you are sending us announcements and tutorials and yet you have not verified if its working? i tried signing up both in mobile app and website many times. why don't you just retain the citi app its way more user-friendly
Finally figured it out. What was not made clear in this video is that if you're a Citibank CC holder and DO NOT have an existing UnionBank account, you need to create a profile or sign up. The instructions were "Sign Up With Existing Account" eh wala naman tayong existing account with UnionBank so you need to do that first.

You got that right, for EXISTING Unionbank users who want to add their Citibank card, just login your Unionbank account and follow the video instructions. I was able to add mine.
This is a problem though for users without a Unionbank account. 🥲

So three options sa app, open an account, login, sign up with existing... Saan k pwede mag create ng profile or sign up without existing... Ayaw ko Naman mag open ng account. 😅
Well... Thats a bummer... It is not easy. The app is prompting that my CC number is invalid. Im using my Citi CC. I was notified by sms to create a UB profile using it.
