I have this pallet and I love it! To make it even more time efficient I dot all the shades where they go all at once ie: color corrector and concealer under the eyes, face colors all over and little dots of the contour where I want them and then blend in with a beauty blender! It took a couple times to really figure out how I like it but now I can do my whole face in like 3 minutes. I do use a gripping primer and pore filler primer underneath which helps with staying power and I set my tzone. I found I can get the most impact from the blush by saving it for last and using a stippling brush to get the most color. Dotting it around like that prevents a lot of layering like you did and it makes it look even more natural which is what I love most about it!!
Great video! You are just gorgeous. I’ve watched you for several years and watched as you have grown into a very beautiful, elegant young woman. So enjoy watching you. I’m 65 and a grand mother of 10, but I still enjoy all of your videos with makeup and your beautiful family. You are so blessed!
Oh to have such young, great skin. Appreciate while you still have it. Oh well, I still like to experiment with new makeup. This purchase is a treat for me but hey, it makes me happy. 😊
There’s a technique pro artists use that you hardly ever see done anymore. Concentrate the product in the center of the face when you apply and blend it out from there. You only need to apply foundation directly to your outer cheek/jaw/perimeter of your face if you want to build up coverage a tiny bit at a time, and only in the areas where you feel it’s needed. You don’t ever need to start with placing the product all over your face. In fact, on doing so, you usually waste product because you are tricking yourself into believing you need that much product for an application, when you actually don’t because 90% of people don’t need foundation in those areas, or don’t need a full layer of it at least.
I really have issues matching makeup to my skin tone because my undertones are strange. I think this technique might really help me with my transitions and to keep it looking blended. Definitely gonna look up some videos and try it out. Thanks!
@@raylong7744 yeah, I wear it in the morning and go to work and it’s still on when I come home :) keep in mind that I do set my T-zone with some powder
I think it would be great if they would offer a cool or neutral version. Even better would be if they offered the pans individually, or do they for when they run out?
Milana I can’t say enough about you. You are just so amazing, beautiful, sweet, smart, and an AMAZING wife and mother. Love all your videos. Love how your channel has evolved. I’ve learned so much from you. His bless your precious family. ✝️✝️💟💟💙💗
@@katharinamurray9237 thank you. She really is one of a kind. I’ve watched her since the beginning. She started with hairstyles, for short hair. I love her laugh. She’s an amazing mama. Her family is just beautiful 😍
I’m so interested in this as I’ve tried the Seint & it breaks my skin out so badly. 😢 I also could never get the longevity that all of the artists talk about.
I'm an "artist" with seint and I don't get longevity with seint. I have really oily skin though. I don't have any problems with breakouts when I use it though.
@@sarahyork11 I honestly really want to love seint. I love the idea of the palette, but I just feel like I blend it and it’s gone. I’m not sure on the ingredient list, but there is something that my skin does not like 🙁
@16kslone I know some people have sensitivity to the lanolin. Not sure what you're reacting to. Everyone is different. But I find I have to really warm it up with my finger and dot it on and stipple with my brush. Swiping makes it go away. So I just pat it in. Have you tried Salt NY? It's more natural and lighter coverage, but same idea and beautiful.
I got this palette on sale Black Friday. I’m 66 yo and this is the best my face makeup has looked, natural but with some coverage. Btw, the foundation shades have a different texture, more blendable, than the corrector shades, more stiff to stay put. Corrector and concealer perfect for me.
I would love to see you do a comparison between this makeup forever pallet and the seint pallet that you reviewed a while ago. You gave such great reviews to this one but the concept was entirely taken from what seint beauty created. You gave nothing but negatives to the seint pallet and you didn’t actually apply it correctly. I don’t use seint but I would to see a half and half done to see price wise, application wise, and longevity wise how they compare.
I have this exact MUF Palette and the newest one with the blush. I also have the Seint tins… I really really dislike Seint. I do like the Bella bronzer. But that’s about it. I have dryer aging skin so I do scoop the MUF out and mix with the tiniest bit of oil and it’s gorgeous!!
Agreed her skin does look really good. I think in part it is genetic. Her mom and sisters look just as good. Also, she just turned 30 not too long ago!!
And if you want to keep your palette cleaner, remove only the amount of product you need from the pan with a clean spatula and place it onto a clean mixing palette.
You could use the creams for eyeshadow and lips too! I use mine for eyeshadow and then set with a powder, looks really nice and natural. I also use the blush as a light tint too :)
I’m glad they have another palette that is darker cause I looked at that and I was like yeah that’s awesome and so aesthetically pleasing but….. literally where are the deep tones 🙄. But I’m glad there is another. And for a light medium palette the depth of the tones is alright but they don’t have as many undertones for the darker ones as they do the lighter ones. It be cool if they made this but with more specific colors like you could get deeper tones for neutral and red undertones or you could get light tones for more pick or yellow undertones etc. like you could pick the general skin tone lightness or darkness and pick like two undertones. Or even customize it. That would be awesome if it was magnetic and you could buy the pans individually to refill or swap out etc. I love how it looks though. Just would like to see it with a few more options and variations. I’ve had lots of trouble over the years finding makeup that works with my tons especially after it oxidizes. So I can’t imagine how people with deeper or more complex tones than me feel. Or even lighter tones that are very neutral, pink, yellow etc. I get it, you can’t cater to everyone but a customizable option would be so cool and helpful. Especially for summer to winter transition where you wanna go from warmer to more cool or neutral. Edit: oh they are magnetic! Awesome!
You didn't use the darker contour for your eyes or brows. I've seen similar (but larger pan sized) pallets like this and they would use the bronzer/contour as well as the blush shades for eyes and lips. You should try that next time. 😊
Yeah, I think the contour is too warm here. Contours should typically be the foundation shade with black added to create shadow. Even adding a black color corrrector would have been more appropriate, however maybe not user friendly for most consumers.
Maybe it's me or something but to me the makeup kinda looks a little patchy when you applied it , sorry not trying to be mean . You're beautiful and I appreciate your time and videos.
Milana, I keep hearing about the other cream makeup pallet that you customize yourself! It’s supposed to be better for mature skin (like mine) that’s drier. And the way they market it, like it’s a “paint by number” system. They all make it look so easy, and I’m sure it does take a bit of practice, but what are your thoughts on something like that? I’m sorry, for the life of me right now I can’t remember the name!!
These pallets are intended to be used like a paint by number.. you really don't "layer" the product, you just place a little dab where you want it and then blend all together!
I have this pallet and I love it! To make it even more time efficient I dot all the shades where they go all at once ie: color corrector and concealer under the eyes, face colors all over and little dots of the contour where I want them and then blend in with a beauty blender! Thanks for this splendid video🎉
I got this soon as it came up for our upcoming Disney trip and I can’t put it down. I’m gonna have to buy a backup
I was wondering if the little squares of products can be purchased and inserted if used a lot. Probably not but just checking.
Are you going to do this again and set everything? That would be good to know. Also, how many full face uses do you think are in this compact?

Can you please share your thoughts on this with setting powder? That’s the only thing holding me up.

@Mary Kurent she applied it wrong though. There's definitely a learning curve to Seint. I don't find it very long wearing though
