@@popculturallychallenged you’re right. Just for this movie. My wife is similar, but if her level is 5 or 6 while yours is on 10. It can to instrument triggered at times so I get it. 👍🏾🥹

This movie and his other movie "Click" make me laugh so much and bring me to utter tears every time I watch them. Never fails. And I've seen those movies at least 20 times each. But it's a happy cry.
I’ve seen a few of your videos and your wife is so sweet and caring and cries so hard with really sad moments. But I can’t stop laughing at how she died cracking up at a very violent part LMAO!
After the movie, when he said he writes a song for her every day, and started going into that joke about her having memory loss at the end was hilarious.

I think we're going to check that one out! We just watched The Wedding Singer so we'd like to finish their "trilogy"
they are slightly crying movies, but if you haven't seen Dead Poets Society, Secondhand Lions, or Little Miss Sunshine you should check them out. Great story lines all around

They did a third one together called Blended, that was a fun film.
Love all 3 of the Barrymore/Sandler films. They each have humor and heart. In order: The Wedding Singer. 50 First Dates. Blended.
50 first data is probably my favorite Adam Sandler movie! Another one i really enjoy with Adam Sandler and Drew is "Blended!" It's heartwarming to me. A few tender moments that might make Toni cry but it's a sweet movie.
Mr. Deeds is a funny one too.

Definitely Wedding Singer. I hesitated watching The Hangover series for years because I thought it would be male humor only, but I thought they were really funny.

I was surprised how much I liked this right from the start but what really sold me was Lucy's father, Marlin, relenting and asking him over to the house. Much better than Marlin and Doug going into Wiley Coyote defense mode.
The beat down is the best moment. So funny. Love this movie. It was funny and heartfelt. All the best elements that make a movie great.
IF she just wants a non sad, funny movie, check these out: Black Dynamite, The naked gun series, airplane, blazin' saddles, envy, and friday.

They did another movie together that you will both like called "BLENDED". You need to watch it.
This was the first time that i've seen Toni laughed so hard n as much as she did, even if she still cried on thosr emotional moments, such a wonderful, emotional person she is. Great reaction. A movie i'd suggest is 'This is 40' or 'Knocked up' both comedies and i'm pretty sure Toni would like them

24:06 this institute refers (or connects)to another movie. It’s called the Callahan Institute funded by T.B. Callahan out of Sandusky, Ohio. The main character of the movie “Tommy Boy” is Tommy Callahan (aka Tommy Boy) whose family owns a plant in Sandusky, Ohio. If you haven’t seen it you should check it out. It stars Chris Farley & David Spade. These two did another movie together called “Black Sheep”. They were great comedy duo.

I LOVE The Wedding Singer! Drew and Adam have amazing chemistry and, while I love 50 First Dates, I prefer The Wedding Singer for sure! You should definitely watch it!

Great reaction. Not a huge Adam Sandler fan, but this is one of only a few of his movies that I actually enjoy watching. The others are Happy Gilmore, Grown-Ups and Grown-Ups 2. Bill and Ted is a must-watch. The first two movies are great, but the third one you can do without.

Also recommend Spanglish for an Adam Sandler romance movie. You will cry but it is well worth the cry.

I remember showing my mom this movie and while I think it's an amazing movie, she was actually really bothered that she has been living her days not knowing she had a daughter. The more I think about it, that's actually very sad and really depressing. Still love it though.

“Blended” and “Just Go With It” are two more of Adam Sandler’s best, most normal rom-coms.

Adam Sandler is not my cup of tea, but the idea behind this movie is novel and it works.
This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie
Great job as always you two!! Drew Berrymore and Adam Sandler were one of the best combos for romantic comedies. You guys might want to look at older classics for pure comedy as many of the romantic comedies will have some scenes that might make Toni tear up. Some great ones from the 70s were Foul Play and What's up Doc, I don't think either of those would get you to tear up. In the 80s some of Tom Hanks such as The Man With One Red Shoe or The Burbs or you might even go with something like Chevy Chase in Fletch.

The Return of the King (3rd movie in Lord of the Rings), Toni loved and cried!
It was like reading a book, with amount of time it took to finish the trilogy, but I think she really did enjoy it when it was over!
My favorite Romcom
She was putting hot syrup in the waffle volcano hehe. One you'd really like Toni is blended, it's funny and it's a feel good story but it doesn't hit you in the gut quite like this one, but yeah as far as Sandler and drew you'd really like blended.

The BEST romantic movies have to break your heart at least a little bit... even the funny ones.
Toni wants a sweet, funny movie with no heart-break ... and no tears ... but she cries during even the happy moments (not necessarily a BAD thing) ... and while she will laugh on occasion with the "stupid"-funny ... that's not really her cup of tea.
Sandler's films are at their best when they break your heart AND make you laugh (He'll make the stupidest of comedies and then he'll turn around and do a crazy dramatic role and remind you that he's actually got some incredible acting chops) - so we might have to go a different route to find HER movie
Maybe some of the older classics ... "Singing In the Rain"

Toni...don't fret about Monty Python. It's a zaney British humor movie. It's also chuck full of pulp culture one liners that you could only get if you watch it. I believe it would be something you could enjoy...if you don't take it seriously
Every Adam Sandler movie is a great movie in my opinion. Also any movie by M. Night Shyamalon.

This movie hit me really hard as in 1993 I had a brain aneurysm along with surgery and I although I could remember things, I was completely challenged in that way. I had to relearn many things. This movie hits me in the feels over it, and ever so grateful that I did not have the outcome of Lucy.

Great reaction guys,…Toni with here sweet heart & David with the “we’ve seen this movie six times”! 😂. (Here’s a suggestion for a fantastic comedy, give “Oscar” a watch …please. No one els has taken a chance yet to my knowledge. It’s a Stallone film with a top tier cast & I think one of his best. Don’t want to say too much, but I think you’ll both love it)

WOW what a classic reaction to this I didn't know your wife Toni was gonna cry so much but yet again Toni turned it around and laughed at the right times my ? for Toni was did she feel sorry for Henry's sidekick when Lucy was hitting him with that baseball bat many times Toni couldn't stop laughing which caused myself to laugh even harder which brought me to tears for the 1st time watching this movie reaction keep the reactions coming as I enjoy your movies reactions maybe next time you can react to the movie Blended with Adam and Drew as they do another classic comedy movie `and the movie review about at the end when Toni asks you why haven't you wrote me a song was AWESOME response which you play it off like the movie classic. This has to be among Sandler's best. Just accept that crying isn't avoidable.
I don't particularly like Adam Sandler or Drew Barrymore but this movie works for me for some reason.
I really enjoyed it even though I cried.... 😂 - Toni 🤓
A great romance, though it might spark a few tears... "Frankie and Johnny" - (Pacino).
A journey of accpetance and love - "As Good As It Gets" -(Nicholson)
Seduction and Betrayal "Dangerous Liaisons" - (Close/Malkovich)
Pretty solid love story, with secrets and hard choices - "The Bridges Of Madison County" - (Eastwood).
None of them are particularly 'up n happy' all the way through, but each has it's moments of something more than expected and I never regret giving any of them a rewatch.
I think all are good enough to enjoy for being good, and also good enough romances in their own way to scratch that itch. They will all cause a tear or two, but they are worth it.
I feel sorry for everyone who watched this before Sixth Sense.. that spoiler is out of pocket.. 😂😂
1:06- This one is Adam Sandler's best because he didn't write it. If you want his best movies, look for the ones he didn't write. Just Go With It (which he also didn't write) won 2 Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Actor (him- something he's won many times) and Worst Director. This movie is a classic. Adam is a great actor, at times - check out young Adam Sandler's Punchdrunk Love for his other good performance and Uncut Gems was a recent gem. Spanglish was also pretty good. Out of his silly stuff, The Waterboy and The Wedding Singer (his 1st one with Drew Barrymore) are also worth checking out. I guess, Happy Gilmore too which is now getting a Netflix sequel. Big Daddy's pretty cute too. But most of his stuff his garbage. Great guy, though and VERY rich because no matter what- he gets huge box office whether his movies are good or garbage.
