    I hope this comment doesnt end up being too long but. i wanted to share my gratitude for how you teach in such a laid back & respectful way. im a novice & have only self-tied for personal enjoyment. im also autistic & struggle with touch aversion. this harness has done wonders for like "it feels like a really good hug but i dont have to let anyone touch me" so thank you 💘 my serotonin owes you a lot
    hope you are well

      Hello. I am a little confused. Did you tied yourself up since you don't like to be touched? This process seems very difficult for self tie especially the back.

      @@KB-oh6ip i did it as a self tie as well and it works just fine, with a little patience^^

    Dove straight in for this one as chest compression is my favourite sensation from rope! It’s like the best kind of hug.

    Was having a deep conversation about the benefits of corsets and then this popped up. :D It was perfect timing and made me happy. Can't wait to try it!

    We really liked this one, we did the chest harness and then used another rope to turn it upside down and added it as a hip harness!

    corset don't restrict your breathing but rather encourage abdominal breathing which can be deeper than breathing from your chest and very beneficial- especially to relax!

    Just tried this on myself! I just HAD to after seeing the thumbnail🥺😍. Took a while to do it while looking at the mirror over my shoulder, but I did it😁!! Currently writing this comment while in the harness. It may not be labeled 'self bondage,' but I think it totally can be, if you can just bend your arms back far enough 😀

    Bought my first rope (and so far only, on a bit of a budget atm) this week and it's only 7m (23ft) so I had to improvise an end after only making the V :P
    I imagine it could be interesting for other beginners like me to have some preexisting designs to learn from that work with shorter ropes. Yk, to learn the ropes ;)
    Either case, thanks for the fantastic tutorials. I would love to do the DnD ones, but as I said on a bit of a budget rn.

    My only complaint about your videos is that the text bubbles for Marie and Crochet Rory are entirely illegible at lower resolutions. It took me forever to realize what the "sane" part of Safe, Sane and Consensual was.
    Love your ropework, and your tutorials - I've been fascinated by rope and knots since I was a kid, and have come to love the artistry of Shibari.

    Hello! Thank you for your videos. I would like to ask a question, which harness would you recommend for breast support? Basically something that feels supportive, a bit like a sports bra, but without covering the entire breast and looking like a harness. Looking to use as part of role playing costume for a character that requires some movement. I've watched this video and the gem harness so far. Any advice appreciated. Also looking for natural fiber rope (cotton, wool). Thank you!

    What can I use to replace a human to practice if I don't have a model? I'm possibly getting a 40ft boat rope tomorrow, but I don't think it's suitable for humans so I want to practice on an object in til I can get rope I could use on humans.

    I have a friend who wants to be a Marie but they have sensory issues. Is there a harness that would be okay for them? Or a type of rope?

    • @jazwhoaskedforthis
      @jazwhoaskedforthis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What type of sensory issue

    • @Blueonskis
      @Blueonskis 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If the issue pertains to scratchy stuff then bamboo could be nice for them! It's super soft :) To test the waters and so you can get them out speedy, Rory has done a vid on quick release harnesses; those could be a nice idea to help the person being tied become comfortable, and have them feel in total control, as they can even get themselves out of those I believe :D I have sensory issues myself, but ofc everyone is different and what works for one person could be hell for another. The best way to find out what's best for someone is to experiment, funfun!
      If they need time to get used to rope, you could try rope gauntlets and similar things on them, stuff that isn't hugely restrictive, on a small part of their body where they can easily see everything that's going on ^~^
