Thanks for making this! I’ve been waiting a long time for exactly this video. I’m still enjoying using my T200 4 years after buying it. All I would add to what you’ve said is that it’s worth investing in a powered external mic and dialling down in internal gain on the camera to -27db to get amazing hiss-free audio. Good luck selling your T200 camera. Whoever buys it will be very happy I’m sure and might just discover a great new hobby in the process.
It sold quickly! I shoot mostly on the X-H2S these days and I had to set that bird free, but the new owner is excited and taking it with them on vacation this week!
Even though I have an XT-3 and XT-30, I bought and used the X-T200 initially to avoid theft and damage of the more 'serious' cameras but I ended up using it so often I kind of preferred using it and I found the photo quality to be frankly amazing and after a while you get very used to how it operates, it eventually almost seems to makes sense. Anyway I still use it now for all these reasons, it really is a great camera.
Image quality on all Fuji cameras is pretty amazing since all of their glass is their headliner glass and not an afterthought like most crop-sensor lenses from the other brands.
@@Stories_with_Swagat I think the lens choice and lighting conditions have far more impact than the sensor on these two cameras. I have never had a situation where I thought "If only I had the XT3 right now". Now if I was pixel peeping side by side would I be able to see a difference, possibly sometimes, but I wouldn't say the XT3 would always be the winner. The XT3 feels better built and has a more traditional pro style ergonomics as does the XT-30 to a lesser extent. That said the screen on the X-T200 is amazing compared. I think you could go back and forth on many aspects and not reach a definitive answer.

Hi, XT200 user here. Do you think it is worth upgrading to XT-4 as a hobby shooter? I find the autofocus to be very unreliable and the overall camera to be slow when i want to shoot kids playing and dogs running.
The IQ wouldn't be the big upgrade here, but the autofocus speed and reliability would be along with a bunch of other features like continuous high speed shutter for sports. I'd say the X-T3 will serve you just fine there with the latest firmware installed too. No fippy screen on that one though.
I am not happy with the kit lens, definition, stabilization and white balance is too bad, I am recording some trip vlog, would you recommend the lens you mentioned, and also can you recommend optimal options for that kind of recording, thanks
If you are going to vlog, you'll need a wide angle pancake lens at a high speed like a 16 or 18 mm with a f2.0 speed or better. (1.4 would be best). Depending on your content i would use a bag of primes for scripted work and a tripod with a external mic. If you do the more run and film from the hand stuff, then a external hotshoe mic and a pancake wideangle would work best i guess.
My only complain is the slow focus, seems like I get more out of focus photos than I did with my Nikon DSLRs (D40, D90, D3200, D5600), also poor tracking, face works ok however

what lens do you usually use in your XT200?
@@_lavie I always go with the 10-24 for video and whatever fast prime lens I'm feeling for photo. The 33mm F1.4 pairs very nicely with it.
