How to Braid TIGHT Braids to Your Own Hair | 2 Dutch Braids | Easy Hairstyles

Can't make tight braids? This video might help you! I listed some of my problems when I started braiding and reasons why I couldn't get to myself perfectly tight braids! I thought to share them with you so you don't have to struggle at least with the same problems as I did!
2 dutch braids, cornrows, boxer braids - what ever they are to you - are most common braid trend and I executed my tips with this hairstyle! They are great for school, any dailylife activity, hobbys etc. These braids last well and you always look good in these braids! They are also great if you haven't wash your hair and you need to hide dirty hair! This is also great braid style for beginners as dutch braid requires only 3 strands of hair!

for all people having a problem with your braid not starting at the top of your head, start with small sections and hold them really tight

Practice is key! When I was in grade three all I would do is do dutch braids on whoever wanted them. It took me a while to master doing it on myself, but it is a nice skill to have. If it’s something you really want to learn, go for it! Just remember it takes a few tries! :)

try starting with smaller pieces and making sure you're doing it tight enough (keep your hair closer to your head rather than away)

Try to not keep moving your hands back and forth because that shifts the braid!

These are dutch braids. Cornrows are different. Cornrows are a different type of braid, as are Dutch braids. There are many many different types.
