Well Done for Presentation ji. Malaya was secured by sacrifices of Punjabi (Muslim and Sikh) Police against Communists, and Japanese. History book in schools should not overlook contribution of our ancestors. My wife's family had so many relatives in Police with British, her Grandfather (Dada), Grandfather (Nana), Father, Uncle (Taya) in police during British rule, and after Merdeka. Her Nana was shot 4 bullets into his thigh by communists near Sungai Siput road ambush, in 1948. Some policemen including Malay policemen died. RAAB saved his life despite much blood loss. He was pensioned off due to the injuries. In a way British also used Punjabi policemen to extend their Empire to make riches for U.K. from free Rubber, Tin, etc. Luckily I was able to see him in his old age.
