This is my deck! I'm excited to learn something! My thoughts: - bandit in the pocket is key. - i like leading with ghost - two lane push with bandit/ghost and ram can work well early on - sometimes you can end with a poison cycle
Manually clear all of your other apps using your device-log thingy. On ipad, you double tap the home button and it brings them all up and you can swipe them away. On Android, you have to find the apps menu through the settings button. What I think is happening is you close your apps but they continue to run in the background, so they accumulate and eventually your device can't handle them all. That's what used to cause my game to crash.

I'd say Battle Ram, Bandit, and Royal Ghost are all good starting plays especially since hardly anyone makes the first move, if you make the first move you're getting a 1 elixr advantage for free it makes no sense to wait unless you have a really bad starting hand.
Ash, have any deck advice? I've been having relative success against most meta decks with a deck that I made, but I feel like it could be made better. The deck is: Royal Hogs Executioner Nado Barb Barrel Fireball Lumberjack Guards Mega Minion It's been really solid, but I wanna hear your thoughts and possible switches I could make. I've gotten a solid win rate against solid players while using it, but I've found it tough to win vs. XBow, Bridge Spam, and Ram Rider bait with Freeze. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hmmm....It's not my type of deck but if you're having issues with Xbow, Bridge spam and Ram Rider I would consider subbing out Exe Nado for a cheaper Tombstone and Ice wiz. Will give you a cheaper cycle and a defensive unit to stop those charging units. Another option is subbing in Bowler for Exe and bats for Nado.

I do have a question, how are people who have played the game and are very good at it get recognized? I have a friend who just reached ultimate champion and was just off of the global leader board (as of the season that just ended, and he did it with impressive games against hog mortar and 3 musketeers. He was also the top US lavaloon player I believe. I personally think he deserves to be recognized to some degree, so I was just wondering how people who are good at the game, but not currently famous, build up their recognition.
I def think heal rework will make it meta...although they're reducing its efficacy, I was thinking abt how it would allow easier, guaranteed dmg, such as balloon living longer and then dealing death dmg, or inferno dragon melting towers. For sure going to be a lot of fun combinations, I'm actually looking forward to it! Love the vid!
Great showcase of this deck. Ive been playing it a few weeks now and i just love it! funny enough, it is GREAT in 2v2 as well! I really hope the Bram nerf doesn't effect the deck too much....Bram is one of my fav cards...as i use it not only in this deck but also in all my 3m decks...and Golem 3m....eeek im scared about the nerf! I REALLY didnt think it was needed....its an easy card to deal with as long as you react in a timely manner.....

Hey Ash, everytime you feature a deck, you should also add a small section on how to counter the deck or its weakness. Especially since when you feature a new deck, it becomes the most used deck soon after.
Aidiator G guards is reliable because it cant be zapped or log. Pekka is also very reliable. Obviously swarm like gang or skarmy is good but they can be zapped and most of their effectiveness would be lost
I use the same deck except i use dart goblin and log instead of royal ghost and poison. Dart goblin is really good and is kind of meta on how fast it shoots and the range it has it can snipe buildings from my side sometimes. And log because its cheap and takes down alot of spam troops.
Hey Ash! Have you ever tried to make a video in portrait mode? Idk where you would place the face cam, but I would like to see if it works. I am guessing most of us watch your videos on phones or tablets, and sometimes the gameplay is too small. Either way, awesome vid as always!

My current deck is very similar to his, except I subbed Ram Rider in for the battle ram, and the electro dragon for the minions. Although electro dragon isn't the strongest 5 elixir card in the game, it's still really good on defense. It also gives the deck a good amount of fireball/lightining bait with both the ewiz and the edrag in it. I also subbed in the log so I wouldn't struggle that much against bait. My deck is expensive, but it is essentially a defensive deck that can counter everything with great counter push potential. You just can't give the opponent spell value.
Hey Ash, after this balance change happens and Valkyrie usage increases and likely (not guaranteed though) in-turn reduces 3 musketeers win rate please try to save them from being put into a really bad spot by direct nerf if you see a big drop in win and usage rate as people can be very short sighted. I believe many people will still want them nerfed since they were very strong recently but if the buff to other cards is enough to reduce their win rates you should mention it at some point later in the month as I believe you have a great informed opinion that people believe if the stats back it up.
It might make it meta bcuz on quick cycle decks if u have a troop with even a decent amt of hp like a knight u can literally cycle multiple heals on the same troop
When playing Lava Hound.. always go the same lane as a Pekka if you have the choice... MOST of the time it is supported by some witch/wizard. The Lava Hound strips the support so you can Burn the Pekka down... If you end up going opposite, you HAVE to have an answer to any support card that WILL be coming behind the Pekka.. I always try and save my Lava Hound till double Elixer.. defend ... then if the situation presents itself.. put the Lava Hound in front of what ever units survive from defending.

Hey I want to report the way 2 vs 2 matches have been sorting these days, I am a level 8 on my second account yet I always counter lv 10-12 king towers. Also double prince is getting popular in arena 10 again. Happy new year Ash! Hope some talks about that issue again.
great video, i was thinking about adopting this deck, then i found out about the ram nerf...which I'm still very salty over, i know Supercell wants Hog to reign supreme, but ram isn't as crazy as hog anyway...they nerf the charge damage, which doesn't always make it to the tower anyway, unlike hog, who can run through a lot of damage, and still get a hit off on the tower
I hear ya on the ram. I do think that it will still be fine, though. As I mentioned in the video, a 11% charge dmg nerf isn't quite as bad as it may sound - at least, I don't think it will be ;) we'll see next week!
Hey ash I want to thank you getting me to 4300 with the rg dekc but I want to share someting considiring that a lot of F2P are having the same issue and that is a lot of maxed minion horde and elite barbarians between 4200 4400 so you have to counter specific cards at the lower levels
That’s exactly how I deal with lavaloon or lava hound with my pekka deck, except I have inferno dragon so I just inferno dragon the lava hound after pekka’ing the bridge and using an e wiz if needed

I was at arena 9 and starting using a pekka deck , basically my version. Pekka, Executioner, Tornado, GobGang, Pump, Zap, Log and Minions . It made me to Arena 11 (3500+) , Have only 5 Legendz , Need Some suggestions

Maybe add a tank? The deck is lacking in hit points.

I usually by preference, go royal ghost at the bridge.

I was at arena 9 and starting using a pekka deck , basically my version. Pekka, Executioner, Tornado, GobGang, Pump, Zap, Log and Minions . It made me to Arena 11 (3500+) , Have only 5 Legendz , Need Some suggestions
