- In this video, we will talk about growing and caring Allamanda plant in pots. Popularly known as the Golden Trumpet, Allamanda comes in different varieties. One grows into a bush and another one into a vine. We have covered the vine variety in this video.
Allamanda is a low maintenance Summer flowering plant which requires little care for producing flowers and growing. You just have to keep some basic care tips in mind before you begin growing them in your gardens.

🌼 Allamanda Plant Care 🌼
Allamanda plant is fairly an easy plant to grow but you still have to provide some basic care to this plant. Below are some basic tips which will help you get a healthy plant and get more blooms!
Soil: The soil should be well drained. Well-Drained soils are good at water retention and also protect plants against possible pests and diseases.
Watering: Water Allamanda plant when the top 1-inch layer of the soil dries out. Do not over-water Allamanda as this plant hates soggy soils and does not like to sit in water for a long period of times. I would recommend you to create a watering schedule.
Mulching: You can use an organic mulch for retaining the moisture.
Location/Sunlight: Keep Allamanda plant at a location which receives 2-3 hours of morning sunlight. Strong afternoon sunlight will burn the plant and its leaves. Keep it at a position which receives indirect light with some shade.
Fertilizer: Feed your Allamanda plants every 10 days during the growing season. Organic fertilizer like Vermi Compost or Cow Dung can be used.
Pests/Diseases: Allamanda dies a lot due to root rot. So make sure you are not over watering your plants. Miley bugs also attack the leaves of this plant. Consider spraying Neem oil to your plants and use Neem cake in the soil for keeping the pests at bay.

Could be multiple reasons. Improper watering, not enough sun or a fungal disease. Deep water every 3 days, keep in full sun and give NPK every 15 days. It will grow good

Helllo sir, i would like to ask about the new growth of this plant in which month starts. I have an Allamanda vine (yellow) variety same as you shown in this video and this plant i bought last year spring season, now its March 26th but new growth is still not yet appeared.

Try adding cow dung manure, keep under good sun and check watering. If still doesn't grow, change the soil

I purchased fullly grown allamanda in 10 inch pot a month back, kept it in sun and regularly watered. Temperature has been around 30-40 degree C but all the leaves have dried and plants seems to not reviving. Please help what should I do to revive it?
Over watering krdi shayad apne. Check for other signs of stress

Vermi compost is a slow release fertilizer. Try adding a liquid fertilizer like npk they are fast in absorption

Happens in fall season. Don't throw your plant it will regrow new leaves in summers. You have summer variety i think?

Don't water much they don't like water. Over Watering will cause a root rot. Little fertilizer like 666 is good 3x yr.
