- As I promised; Legends Showdown (Adventure Mode) of Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games is here! In this Part we take on all of Area one a defeat the Dark Clones. You might see cuts in the video after every Event, 'cause I didn't want to show all of my fails. (So here are all of my winning runs).

Hey sunny let me tell you something, in smash bros the reason why they didn't ad a story mode to the game is becuse peeple have been doing lets plays of the story mode of super smash bros bral and puting it on youtube and the creater of smash bros got angry so that is why he didn't ad a story mode to smash bros so when your lets playing a party game its not a great idea to lets play the story mode and like mario party 10 it didn't have a story mode probley the same thing so anyway, so if peeple kept lets playing story modes nintendo wont ad story modes to party games anymore!
+Ean Nicholas That isn't true. It was only Sakurai. Not all of Nintendo. The reason why there was no story mode in the recent Smash Bros. was because people leaked the clips from brawl's. You also forgot all periods in your statement

I know what you're referring to. Masahiro Sakurai removed the Story Mode plans for Smash 4 because her felt that the cut scenes were rewards, and if players' saw them online it would ruin it. I understand what he's coming from, but that does not make it right! You shouldn't subtract from your own great work because of fears of people (whom you CANNOT control) from ,"spoiling" it! Did James Cameron cancel Avatar because he was afraid of piraters putting it online when it released?
Secondly, Nintendo needed to stop being so technophobic! It's not the 80s anymore; they can't completely restrict how players enjoy their games. Granted,I get how easy it is to have something spoiled online, but you can mostly CHOOSE what you want to see! If someone puts the Smash 4 cut scenes, so what! If I don't want to see it, I'll simply avoid it! But if I do, it won't make NOT buy the game; quite the opposite, it'd make me want it. even more!
This leads to my third point: Nintendo fails to understand the sheer influential power of TH-cam as a median for advertisement and sponsorship for them! The Let's Players made such a huge impact on game sales that it's ridiculous! Even the dumbest, simplest games can become huge is a Let's Player plays it. Remember Flappy Bird? All because of Pewdiepie! The more recent Five Nights at Freddy's? Mainly Markiplier. Even though one may watch the entire series of a game, it does not discourage them from buying and playing and enjoying it themselves! Why?
*Because in watching Let's Players or even walkthroughs (like this one!), it shows viewer how FUN the game is*!
Have you ever say down with a sibling or friend and watched them play a game? Did you ever feel excited to not just watch them, or did you ever feel even more excited at the idea of playing it yourself? I know that's how I felt about all my brother's games.
Don't you see that? Like for me, after watching this video, if made me want to buy this game! This video made me remember how much I enjoyed playing the first game, and I want the others! Sakurai shot himself in the foot big time for trying to ironically control how people viewed his game,and in doing so he took away such a crucial part to his game that would have definitely made it better! I'm still mad for that, because I LOVED the story mode in Brawl!
So overall, whether Nintendo likes it or not, Let's Players and Walkthrough Players (like ♥Sunny♥, who is awesome!) are here to stay. And whether Nintendo realizes it or not, tis is definitely in their favor.
