I feel that playing battle mania would actually make this deck more consistent, since you can eliminate the problem of your opponent not attacking
Your opponent doesn't have to attack
KrafterkidB11 Yes... but they DO have to enter the battle phase. If you're forced to summon WK LV10 in the Main Phase, then your opponent can just skip their battle phase and main phase 2 and just end their turn, thus no giving you a chance to attack. But if a card says that you MUST attack, then you can't skip your battle phase.
Right, but I was just saying they have to have a battle phase, but they don't have to attack. Although this problem is easily solved by using flute of summoning kuriboh instead of summoning a winged kuriboh. It doesn't always work, but as long as they don't use heavy storm or the like, it works pretty well.
KrafterkidB11 Yep. It is however nice to have backup plans for when you don't have the flute. That's when cards that force your opponent to attack come in useful.

People are so discriminative now a days, that they even argue about Yu-Gi-Oh players who buy cards vs those that play online...Seriously guys? It's a game, enjoy it in whatever way you feel like.
The only way to ensure this OTK is "All-Out Attacks" because this won't work on a player that actually reads a card's effect.
Will work if he activates the spell during the battle phase.
Also true, IDK why it didn't crossed my mind, but still "All-Out Attacks" forces the player to go to battle phase that's why I say "ensure", because he could still wait and the other player for whatever reason skip his battle phase either way.
***** no, just do not have kuriboh on the field, and during opponents battle phase and use flute and trans wings (archfiends must be early as possible when you have the those two cards plus two more in hand, and zoma, fortress, or slime on the field) and rekt. That way they won't be able to escape.
You could've let him compulsory your kuriboh, then at start of battle phase, activate your set flute to summon another, then you have the setup for transcendent wings.
You can use transcending wings with a facedown winged kuriboh, and you could have let your kuriboh return to your hand because of your facedown flute... This deck gets funnier when your opponent thinks he's safe with a jinzo.
The OTK is still technically playable, and would be hilarious to pull off in a tournament.
I wouldn't be surprised if the deck azneyes made has at least one regular kuriboh in it for the sole purpose of access to BLS.

Alright, so many bad plays.

actually battle phase is always optional....thats been in the core rulebook since the first starter deck was printed :/
That is why there is a trap card that FORCES your opponent to conduct their battlephase that is often used with winged level 10 if you are silly enough to already have it on the field. The best way to use winged level 10 though is to flute and trancendant during the battle phase.
Actually, something I just found. "Entering your Battle Phase is optional, except where special conditions apply". Being forced to enter BP to get to Main Phase 2 from Main Phase 1 is a limitation of ygopro.
Actually, you can choose a face down winged kuriboh.
you can set the kuriboh, and wait for the atk. :D
There is another way. You set flute, active it in the start of battle phase, then use trans and WIN, making a surprise combo.
My favorite deck type, Kuriboh, I would put this cutey in every deck, Kuribohbook, Mer-Kuriboh, and of course Kuriboh Ruler.
They do 800 damage each when they are destroyed, meaning 2400 damage pluss 6000, so you always win unless your opponent has no monster in attack position and more then 8400 life points.
i played this deck for a very long time haha, it was pretty fun. thank god flute of summoning and transcendent wings are both quick plays, otherwise the combo would have been impossible

This was won solely by the fact that the opponent can't read. You should have let him compuls, use flute after oppoenent enters bp, then use wings and go for game.
I find it interesting that this is slightly interesting to watch, but MTG is still my fav game.

If it can happen without set up it is an ftk.
If it can deal 8k or more damage in one turn, it is an otk.

This is not my definition of otk, but the common definition of otk. If you are not able to understand such basic english, then I can't do anything for you.
"One turn" does not specify which turn. As long as you can finish your opponent in one turn, meaning deal 8k damage somewhat consistently, then your deck can perform otks. That's why there is another term, "first turn kill", to differenciate otk and ftk.
do you use Battlemania? thats a great card for that kind of deck, cause battlemania forces your opponent to battle with all atk position monsters
It did otk what are thinking of is an ftk. Otks dont need to be in the 1st turn to be and otk. Where as an ftk (first turn kill) does need to be done in the 1st turn.
I mean...you won exclusively because your opponent didn't read the card in front of them...
That awkward moment when you go to pull off the combo and your opponent then synchro summons using the tokens
He doesn't need to be normal summoned to use wings because it doesn't say face up in the spell

Someone tried using this on me once, they got pissed and raged because i summoned Contrast HERO Chaos and kept negating its effect everyturn XD

The thing is you can't just not enter BP. When you move between Phases you enter the previous phase. So there is no way to not enter Battle Phase. If you don't know that then you really have no right to insult Azneyes.
I Have a deck like this too, Run Battle Mania. so they have to enter battle phase and all monsters go to attack
not sure if you run it but, battle mania's a good card to force them to attack

You should do red dragon archfeind and winged kuribo level 10 which destroys all cards know matter what
oh and the kuriboh doesn't have to be face up to tribute it.
You should've let him Compulsory'd, then used Flute when he entered his Battle Phase.

That was not an OTK though. OTK stands for one turn kill, that was more than one turn.
his opponent took all of his damage and died in one turn, so yes it is...

I think you might be a school drop out, I will share some knowledge with you, otk = one turn kill = dropping your opponent lp from 8000 to 0 in one turn, no matter if it's been 5 actual turns. Most if the time it doesn't go further than 3 turns. Ftk =first turn kill, self explanatory.
try a berserker crush deck , i built one once and it simply gets around problems, nothing says fear like a 5000 atk kuriboh , lol

Says nothing about being attacked. Regardless he could of activated the effect even of his opponent didn't attack because you can't skip a phase.

Just read the rulebook pg. 31 "You do not have conduct a Battle Phase every turn, even if you have a monster on the field."

There is no skipping it unless a card effect says so. Its just like you can't go from Battle phase to end phase.
If you don't understand that, then there is zero hope for you.
We're not talking about the Main Phase 2 this is about skipping the battle phase
This is an option: Draw Phase - Standby Phase - Main Phase 1 - End Turn you are allowed to do this you never need a battle phase

I'm surprised that the player attacked the LV10. It's extremely easy to avoid as long as your opponent doesn't force you into entering your battle phase with something like Battle Mania. The player has the right to get OTK'd because he / she didn't read the card's effect -_-

OTK means One Turn Kill meaning that you are finishing your opponent off in 1 turn, but it dosen't mean it is the first turn
FTK means First Turn Kill meaning that you are finishing your opponent off in your first turn. That is the difference

You're bad at using this OTK...he could have just not entered Battle Phase and then what? You should have let him compulsed it, then when he entered BP used your Flute to just special summon another Winged then immediately used Transcendent.
