Wow, this is really good! Just like in previous film I loved the camera work, actors and visual effects, everything looks impressive! Speaking about the character of Jean Grey, I think we've never seen her child expirience like this in films. And I love the way you develop these characters, your Logan tried to be less aggresive which is fun and here we understand what drives Jean to almost kill that policeman. Btw, great casting choice, Scout Taylor-Compton did a great job as Jean Grey. You're a talented filmmaker, Mahmut, hope to see more fan films :)

With 2 minutes and a half manages to be WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the blockbuster budget shitshow of the Dark Phoenix film.

Give me a break. Dark Phoenix was not entirely bad. It wasn't even mostly bad. There was a lot of studio interference. It was never meant to be one film. They intended to tell the story over severa. The Hellfire Club and Shi'ar were cut, they changed the ending and did little to promote the film. What we got was what we got and it wasn't all bad. The scenes with Xavier and young Jean were good. They got Cyclops right. When they fought Magneto in New York they actually cooperated as a team. If you wanted a big budget action film Dark Phoenix was never going to be that. It explored character psychology and perspective and I enjoyed it.
@@JohnSmith-xg9wx horribly written and directed, the actors feel hindered the entire film. This short film is better in those aspects you enjoyed in DP and is NOT action packed is it? This is how you capture the escence of the source material.
@@LuMartinez001 the thing is this short film is just exhibiting the powers of Jean Grey...not her Phoenix alter ego ...! If it was the Dark Phoenix It'd be more destructive & wud need more budget & cgi to portray the phoenix cuz of it's nigh omnipotent powers.

Oh wow, Scout would be a great choice for Jean in a full-length film, I never even thought about her. I've only seen her in a few things, but I think she's definitely got the range for a character like Jean.
Great job on this, despite the abstract nature of the whole thing(which is a perfect way to showcase Jean's darker moments), the narrative is super easy to follow. My only complaint is that I didn't get to see more!
Despite some people criticizing Sophie Turner's performance as Jean Grey, I actually think she did a great job (watch the scene in Dark Phoenix where she arrives at her father's home in a state of awe and joy, then shifts to rage at realizing she was abandoned, and then grief as she remembers what she did.) Having said that and after watching this, Scout Taylor-Compton would have also been a fantastic choice that I don't think most people would have even considered. Scout manages to say so much here without saying a single word. Good show

Maybe you can do Magik short movie. As you know, she has some traumas because of her childhood and Limbo. Also i think she is the most mystical person in the X-Men team.

Beautiful camera work. Love the sound effects and special effects too... but I needed it to end in a better way.

Fantastic, i really love it, the film understand more the caracters of Jean Grey than the two last movie. I m speechless about the fact that you manage to do so much in only 2.30min, that s brillant !! I have just one major critic to Say (and for a french drunk a**hole like me that quit impressive) : if you didn't watch or dont remember "close shaved" or if you don t know anything about the x men you can t understand anything about what s happen in this film.
Anyway are you gonna really make this expand universe, first base on spin off, but will they be conected (other than the same dark, day of the future past/logan child uniserve ? I will fck love it.
