I don't know why it's so hard for others to even consider that Paul and John could have seen each other as more than friends, i know we can't assure anything because we aren't them, but that goes both ways, we can't just assume they were in love as much you can't assure they weren't. I mean this song is not 100% a proof of anything, but makes you think, especially when you think about the fact that they sung a song about running away together and a year later as soon as john got some money they leave everything to go to paris, a place they will talk about dearly for the rest of their lives.
idk why its hard for ppl to actually see that paul and john seen each other more then friends, it was pretty obvious and ppl just denied it. like how do we separate the part where john calls paul “bunny, love and baby” and the part where paul said they did stuff together but wouldn’t say with cynthia or yoko alive
No hablo inglés pero estoy tan de acuerdo contigo espero que algún día si es que Paul se anima nos cuente más sobre su relación con Jonh, estoy segura que ellos no solo fueron amigos ellos fueron algo más,pero eso solo lo saben ellos.
Not many people know about the song personally I'm glad it's not well known because Paul seems very set on hiding any sort of homosexual relationship between him and John, which is likely for very personal reasons. If this recording were more well known I don't doute that it would be jumped on him in an interview at some point. It would likely be pretty embarrassing for him and secondly it would probably be very painful on his end he clearly doesn't want to talk about it.
@@RayRay-zt7bj this song has been circulating as a bootleg beatles recording for years. The uploader just cleaned up the file and put it on youtube. I first heard this in 1997 off my friend's ripped CDs.
I think it is interesting to note that this song, in its "mutual love"-theme, reiterated utter of names (Paul and, obviously, Johnny) and kind of monotonous music, is not that dissimilar really from what John would do, some eight years later, with Yoko Ono at the start of their romance
Maybe George is playing the hofner club 40 he got in 1959 And Paul with his Zenith and Stu Sutcliffe I'm thinking John was not there since it was about john
First off this is not a love song or a song lamenting any sexual feelings. This song is from the Forthlin Road tapes in 1960 before there was even a Beatles let alone silver beetles. The lineup on this is Lennon McCartney Harrison Mike mcCartney drumming and stuart sutcliffe on bass, who died two years later. If you listen the song is a jam in their early attempts to be a blues band. The lyrics are rambling like the get back session jams when they were trying to work out songs on the spot. Hell they even wrote Love Me Do originally to be a blues song and you can hear it in the very first recording they did of it. The love mccartney talks about is the love you have for another person that you connect with at an early age like a best friend. I empathize with a lot of people who dont true love for another person that is not sexual, because its rare for people to truly care for other people or give without announcing it on social media or a publicist to say see… look at me im such a great person i give my money to charity and help out when i know the camera is recording. Its what is wrong in this world. Stop trying to take thing that are there to fit the narrative in your head. ITS JUST AN EARLY ATTEMPT AT WRITING A SONG. Sit down and write one and see what you come up with. Enjoy the music and stop pretending to know people just cause you listen to their songs.
Damn, I think you've really got a point. I wrote many songs, and most of the love songs weren't about a certain someone, just some abstract person, that's not even close to real, that I called "You", even though I didn't even know who was I reffering to.
If i'm in a room with you and i start singing a song sayin "mako will you be my boy!? let's run away together we won't let people down" and the next year we travel together just the two of us without telling anyone and we both talk about it dearly for the rest of our lives, would it really be THAT odd that people believe that mayyybeee there was something deeper going on between us?
@@fwarnes you just made my point. It is deeper that it is not sexual, its a connection that is truly only shared with few people or one person in your entire life if your fortunate. Its the deeper connection i have with my father and my best friend of over 40 years who i met when i was ten. I dont want to fuck him but if i didnt see him for years we would pick up right where we left off. We were together all the time and even as adults until we had families in our thirties it was us against the world. You know that person will always be there and never let you down and you can truly be yourself. I empathize if you have never had that kind of friendship. Best of luck and God bless.
It's clearly not a girl's part. John even sings, "Oh little boy..." And Paul talks about his father in the song: "I don't know how I'm gonna tell my father we're gonna leave town." It's clearly sung from his own perspective.

They were a couple!!! I hope Paul confirms this relationship one day (it was very obvious anyway)
For goodness sake. Reading.

When did Paul say that? I'm obsessed with mclennon that's why I'm asking😭😭
If this isn't a love song, i don't know what this is
How can people say they weren't a couple? Just friends? Noo, there was something else between the two of them.

how can people say that McLennon isn't real when this song exists
ikr

Paul always spoke freely about drugs... maybe he would have said something by now if he were bi?

I love this. It’s an amazing sounding song but I wish we could understand the lyrics better.
Lovers ❤️❤️
This is the cutest thing ever!
The clearest audio of this song I’ve heard so far! Good on you for cleaning it up 🙌
One dislike from Yoko
Hay un poco de Canción en tu Mclennon :3
JDHAJSJAJS THIS
Well, that'll be the day xx
Só o Paul poderia fazer essa homenagem (ou declaração) para o John
Esta canción da mucho de que hablar en muchos sentidos XDDDDDDD
And they were bandmates!
_oh my god they were bandmates_
😉
The intro instrumental sounded Like Elvis Presley. A feel good blues 💙

Noah Hall John was singing too
@@lunardream6021 oh
Noah Hall it’s his voice
John and Paul were doing the vocals smh John was definitely there
I still hear George, doesn't mean that John isn't there though.
Lyrics please? I can't understand what Paul's singing clearly plus I'm not fluent in english 😭
It's a joke, a mockery, don't you understand? ))

How difficult it's for you to accept that those two are queer, John wasn't closeted and I won't even talk about Paul 😂😂

They're improvising, not taking parts in a pre defined song
Then it's still pretty telling
