That verse '...I got no money, im a nobody, just this ambition to tell people we are all equal' blew me away!! :) So empowering and uplifting. Thanks for uploading!
I know what you mean about choosing a favorite song! I love all of them. Nyepi is my favorite...I love his passion for a celebration that I too love. I'm glad to hear you're going to experience the band live. You'll LOVE it! Get down front if you can. Thanks for watching my video. Peace!
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really have a fondness for that one as well. It's actually a piece I created this winter, before I heard the new album. I didn't know which song I would use it for, but I knew it was a piece meant for Nahko's words. Thanks again for watching. Please share the music...and the love!
Nahko has an incredible way of empowering people...that's what he did for me! But that's one of the few lines I would ever "correct" Nahko on...He IS SOMEBODY! He is somebody AMAZING! But I think he already knows that. ;) Thanks for watching. Now go out and spread the word!! Peace and love!
Thank you so much! I only THOUGHT I loved this song before making the video! Each video I make just strengthens my love for their music! Thanks for watching. Much love to you!
OM jah I moved in this apartment building almost 2 years ago in April and I have the best neighbors ever and I am a carpenter female an electrician landscaper waitress mother teacher
Yeah, we all feel that way about Nahko. But...if you're directing that comment at me please contact me on FB (Barbie Montana.71) or on Google+ (BarbieMontana). Thanks again for watching!

My friend the astronomer She is a stargazer I swear they talk to her Boy, I wish I knew What they were saying While I was layin' in her bed With her chest to my head... Were our intentions misread? So I just said it I said, Baby, I'm a nobody I ain't got no money! Just this ambition to tell the people We are equal, so c'mon, baby Come out of your cave!
I will forgive the grammatical and spelling errors only because I love this group. However if you need any proofreading, please let me know. There and Their. one example. Waver and Waiver? I just want to help!
Barbie here. At 0:32 "waver": To move unsteadily back and forth - That is the correct usage and spelling of that word. At 3:00 "there" as in there are - That is the correct usage and spelling of that word also I am not sure what errors there are to "forgive" regarding Nahko's grammar or my spelling in his song or this video. However, thank you for the "help".
Thanks so much for watching! Sometimes when we're reminded of something/someone it means we are meant to contemplate them so that we may grow. ;) Keep hearing Nahko's words. I believe he has something special to say to each and every one of us...if we are open to the message. Peace!
My parents picked cotton in Foley Alabama when I was like 10 years old maybe and we used to pick the pecans off of the neighbors ground and paper bags they would give us for five bucks a bag as children we lived in a Army bus that was converted into a trailer on the farmer's property where my parents picked cotton in the clay grounds of Alabama and we will go through the neighborhood and pick up their pecans off the the ground and they would give us paper bags to fill them up with $5 a bag this was back in the early early 90s I was born in 1980 December so I was like 10 years old. The Army bus had a chimney in it it was beds in it there was a sink that was a toilet I traveled so much as a child 12 States in 22 cities all in the ghetto except for a Foley and Alberta Alabama that was Farmland rural I would rather live in the sticks than in the city
I'm glad you brought that up. My husband and I were just discussing the other day..."what is a hippie?" As many times as we've been called hippies over the last few years, you''d think we'd know by now! I'd love to hear your definition. Maybe you could enlighten us. ;) Thanks for watching!
