More likely since at the beginning, everybody was happily standing ready to go and the next scene, they are all severely wounded and perhaps unconscious and when Luffy was talking to the extremely wounded leader of the Samurai clan, Kine'mon. Just before he closed his eyes due to his tiredness and plus his wounds, he grabbed Luffy's arm and notified him to go ahead and finished the fight against Big Mom and Kaido along with his Pirate crew with his alliance.
