It’s a great album - but it’s a JBJ and friends album. Apart from ‘Living Proof’ it’s missing all the trademarks of classic Jovi. Shows they can still do it but just choose not to. Makes little use of Phil X’s gtr solo talent. Jon is about evolution, but it’s the classic sound that they’re remembered for (Crush was the last great BJ album). All these songs will be forgotten after a yr (apart from Legendary which I’m sure they’ll keep playing live).
