i think a lot of these chinese parts have really come a long way (not all of them for certain). with the cost of name brand components combined with the higher cost of living and stagnant wages i do think they will be growing in popularity. i am going to be trying them myself. i want to go from a 2x8 drive tran to a 1x11. i also want to go from mechanical disk to hydraulic brakes. i dont expect the same performance as the name brands, but i am hopeful they will be serviceable. i have upgraded several bikes with no regard for cost. this one i am trying to cut every cost.
What is the smallest cassette size that will work? For instance, can I use a 11-34 cassette? The deore m5100 had a requirement to use only a 11-51. What is the case with the LTwoo AX?
Using a smaller than spec'd cassette isn't usually a problem, as long as the B screw can accommodate it. Going larger than rated can be a problem. As to the LTwoo, i honestly don't know since it came as a set with the cassette, derailleur, and shifter.
I'm running the L-Twoo AX12 speed on my bike and have been for the past 3years if it's well maintained they work about as well as any other groupset.
I've had zero issues with mine!

I just had my first ride of my second season with the L-Twoo drivetrain and it performed flawlessly. I'm also quite pleased with my Tektro hydraulics.

How would the smoothness of ride fee unupgraded stock one to upgraded?
I honestly can't feel any difference in smoothness. I'll be interested to see if that changes when I get a few miles on the L-Twoo.
@@JimsObsessiveCyclingDisorder hopefully the smoothness is good in both.. :)
