People who play in clans usually have an inferiority complex. They suck at the game but they can't stand losing. So they join a 20 man and then lose an online raid to a good player like Tokyo.

Yeah its crazy, every single part of the base is designed to utter perfection for an online raid, and the turret placement basically means he has afk players sitting in his compound ready for action if needed, what a guy
When you've got that many turrets, the base really becomes its own biggest defence.
I can only imagine how FeelsBadMan it is to be part of an 8+ zerg with at least one cheater and having this much trouble raiding a solo player.

You must be a new player I have over 3k hours exclusively with groups 5+ and it only take 1-2 weeks for them to get comfortable enough with you to start openly talking about cheats it's pathetic 5% of the playerbase had already been caught and banned for cheating and that's only the people who got caught I'm positive it's alot closer to 10%of the playerbase who is actually cheating that means on a 250 pop server you'll find 25 cheaters

@@jkill0993 This demonstrates the Zergs lack of any skill. A good raid team with any skill at all would have prioritized the turrents using HV rockets, then moved into the compound and prevented resealing. Bad players, which these were, think all it takes to win raids are lots of rockets hitting the walls.
Probably One of the hardest raid defense that you have done, out of med metal and HQ for selling and over 150 rockets throwed.. what a exciting episode thanks for this and WP !

The term "Zerg" or "Zerg Rush" came to describe any method of winning a battle by throwing large numbers of bad unit or player at someone.

I think it's safe to say this is one of the best raid defenses I've ever seen. We got to witness "okay plan B. okay plan C... Okay... Plan X." Really goes to show how well engineered your base/compound is that it enables you multiple paths to a successful raid D. I mean, look at what you were up against and what you were able to accomplish. Just absolutely astounding, beyond and above what we were expecting. You did it again my guy!!! Well done!!
This guy gets more action in a single wipe than I've had in my total playtime of rust

3:30 the fact that you raid while being counter raided is why you're a legend.
4:30 , you can change it so you clear gc buffer manually. good for when you notice frame drops you can clear it instantly for an fps boost. usually frame drops are cause of the collected gc. then the stuff like this won't happen when it automatically clears in a fight and you get hard frame drops

Apart from the fact that you must be one of the very few people that know every strength and weakness of their base and utilize them at the right moment , you didn't make a single mistake during the whole raid , strategically speaking . And the fact that you explain ur thoughts during the video , it makes it so much educating for us.

For anyone else I would say that your AK spray control is the most amazing thing about how you play but DAMN if you aren't the fastest dude with a hammer that will ever live. Honestly, behind your incredible prep that's probably the biggest advantage you have in raid defense.
Master Baiter
Lots of things to learn from Tokyo in these videos. First… always have extra building mats available. You want to have plenty to close your base back at any opportunity. Keep wooden/stone walls crafted in case of emergency. Also.. his compound and turret placement is what makes all of it possible. Many times he’s able to repair the base only because they can’t get close enough (yet) to limit his access to those areas. It’s insane how quickly he’s able to make decisions. I’m sure he watches his raw video back and thinks of a million better ways to defend, but for us.. this is insanely good.
Maybe another tip.. record your own gameplay and watch it back. Learn from your own mistakes. Maybe I’ll try doing that in future.

The best Rust defense ever! One giant zerg vs one man...alone in Tokyo.
correction: giant CHEATING zerg.
Ok Tokyo… Hear me out. Put a sleeping bag near the machine that fires off the MLRS rockets, and any time you get an MLRS rocket, put it in a stash near the sleeping bag. When you start getting raided, spawn at that bag, and blow up their raid base and then defend.
Best GD Rust player of all time. Solo defending against 10+. Grats to you on another successful defense!
You arent solo - you are duo with that base. It's an amazing base design, but only because you have mastered raid defenses against overwhelming odds. Like watching a concert musician play an heirloom instrument.
Dont forget, his strategically placed turrets. Tokyo basically a clan on its own. XD

Really the master of Raid Defence as a solo. He have always a B plan. Always a second choice to do if the first go wrong. I still learn a lot in your videos Tokyo, and i have a lot of hrs. With your tactics you make them so confusing. This is your key, changing their target continuously, so they don't have idea where you are precisely.
But this raid, this raid was so hard: Huge raid base in very good spot with 2 turrets with bolts, two fkg searchlight. They raided you like you was in five. LOL

You sir are what I call an absolute unit not many can upset a Zerg and counter it even with more than one person the rockets literally never stopped and not to forget the amount of c4s. Insane counter props to one of the few solos that can do this maybe in the whole game

The rockets to their Scrap Heli was the best! Lol
Groups usually lack individual skill. But attacking anyway requires 3 times the amount of people vs defending. However in Rust: traps, turrets and the fact that you can rebuild instantly makes it very difficult to raid. Alone's base is very easy to defend even though it only can withstand ~30 rockets, there are so many points to enter, rebuild and defend from that it can drag the raid for long time.
Speaking of long time. As the raid goes on raiders usually ran out of supplies really fast and there will be counter raiders making it even harder.
I am not suggesting Alone isn't a good player he definitely is one of the best solo players ever, picking fights he can etc. However when it comes down to defending. Unless the rockets keep on coming it is relatively easy to defend if you have accessible base design. We saw here that for some reason rockets stop coming or slowed down which gave him time to rebuild.
No way I could've survived that defend solo or even with a friend, but these are things to keep in mind :D
i mean, if the fight was 2 hours+, the zerg should have launched like 4-5 sets of 12 MLRS rockets, completely leveling any walls or turrets...

chinese and russian zergs are the reason some servers should ip region base. i do not have half the skills that aloneintokyo has and it is tough being solo and dealing with these zergs. they steam roll you and it is demoralizing, nice to see someone stick it to them, keep up the good work aloneintokyo.

You should consider increasing your Garbage Collection Buffer, so Emergency Garbage Collections happen less often which can cause Framedrops. The default Buffersize is pretty low, I would recommend increasing it to something above 1000 Megabytes depending on how much RAM you got.
