I have the exact Airsoft revolver and I played with it at the airsoft field today. I get numerous comments and compliments on it all day. I carry it in a holster that I made myself and have a great time. I even have pics and a post on my YT Community page. Great shooting, Tuco!
I appreciate the serious look and consideration at airsoft as more than just a kids toy, it's a refreshing take. I went from Nerf to airsoft to real firearms and sometimes to I do miss the airsoft days for it's more lightheartedness.
Hey keep your eyes out for a Tanaka Saa they are the best airsoft revolvers out there and they actually use the exact same actions as a real one too the point where most parts except the hammer and barrel are interchangeable with a real colts. I have one and it is almost impossible to tell by looking at it that it isn’t a real gun (I know because I own a real one).
The orange thing on the barrel indicates that it’s an air soft or nerf or a fake gun. However nerf and fake guns have usually bright colors to indicate
@@Xaltar_ Think its only America that need to have that because of how available normal guns are to them, majority of us in Europe either have them two toned until we get a license that then allows us to purchase more realistic ones

A few years ago right before I retired I bought two of the .177 pellet versions. I wanted the rifled barrels and I only use lead pellets. They really are quite detailed and fun to use. There is also a lever gun by Umarex that takes the same shells, it's a copy of the Winchester 1892 and the U.S. version can achieve over 600 fps which is pretty good for a Co2 gun. It works the same way as a real Winchester 1892, loads through the gate and ejects out the top. I'm positive they make that in both Airsoft and BB/pellet versions.
Well, even after he laughed at you little buddy didn’t get shot so you can’t be the bad, and you sure ain’t ugly, so I think that makes you the good! 😂 I always enjoy your videos and sense of humor. Thank you, Sir. Best wishes to you and your family. ✌️🇺🇸
Good Morning! I've got a small collection of the replica CO2 powered firearms. I started out with the Crosman SAA when I was 10 yrs old ( or so, been over 50 yrs :o) and picked up the rest starting with the Colt SAA that came out some years back. You can get .177 BB or lead round types, revolvers, semi auto, break tops, you name it. ( even the 1897 Nagant ) Definitely a huge amount of fun and I don't have to reload cartridges or use up Black Powder if I just want to plug some tin cans on the back 40. You should look into them just for the diversity of the guns offered. Thank you for the Video, Sir! It was good to see one shot and shot well!
Thank you for being respectful toward the C02 shooting hobby. It's a viable alternative for people who want to shoot. I have quite a few for different reasons and they're all fun to shoot. I even have a copy of a modern Colt Python that's weighted properly and is just a joy to carry & shoot. I'm sure you know already but the orange tip is solely to identify it as "not a firearm". Some of the functions I go to in western attire prefer that you carry something with an orange tip so it's easily identified. Others allow nonfiring replicas without orange tips (and I have a pair of those as well).
Thanks for the background. I've got my eye on a Tanaka SAA that is beautiful, but it's like $350. Do you know if the Tanakas are built more like a real SAA on the inside parts? (bolt, trigger construction and springs)
@TUCOtheratt I hear some of the parts are interchangeable. Like you could put a Colt firing system on a Tanaka. But that would be outside of my skill set so I can only go by what I hear. Definitely high quality stuff and like you said in the video, the gaps would be tighter and a more accurate copy.
Finnaly, the video I waited for. There is only couple of difrences between the one that I want to purchase, mine will not be an airsoft, it will be an airgun. The main difrence is that it will not have that red thing on the barrel and it will shoot metal projectiles. Everything else seems about the same. Ah there will also be one more difrent thing, I dont think buddy would laugh at it, especialy when its pointed at him ; ) Ps: Gday pardner!
Another great video! I’ve played with a few airsoft guns, they’re fun! I’ve thought about getting one of the six guns…🤠👍 I think the card shooting thing is an awesome gimmick!
3:27 you could modify that gap with a File if it bothered you. Maybe someone wants one for Cosplay or a Display or a Show and don't want to stump up for a real Colt. 😂😂 Laughter is the fuel of movement, don't ever be afraid of it, it can only help you.👍 Thanks for being brave and saying what you wanted to say! 👊✌️
Uh-oh, somebody tell Mrs. Theratt that Tuco's trolly has slipped off the rails!!! Time for some calming meds!!! ;-) Love that you're not afraid to make fun of yourself and take a light-hearted approach. I half expected you to shoot the airsoft while wearing a Sponge Bob outfit!!
I freaking love it when u make videos with your target as a person. It's so damb funny. Love your videos. Your info on air soft was interesting. Also why don't u name your target (targo) goes pretty good with Tuco? But anyway keep them coming i love watching
Glad you like them! Actually, I call him Little Buddy in other videos. I have a playlist of Little Buddy videos on the my TH-cam channel page. If you watch the play list of Little Buddy videos it tells the entire story of where he came from and our back and forth drama.
I've used the Umarex Colt SAA replica for quick draw practice. Frangible BBs on a steel target make a satisfying "ding". If you have the Cowboy Fast Draw timer hooked up to the target you can get times just like with wax bullets. The discharge sound may not be loud enough to activate some sound activated shot timers though, which leaves you with the more costly impact activated timer, but that's what's used for competitions anyway.
I recommend snap caps as well. I do not know why but the first thing that will go wrong is the transfer bar will snap.. that’s what seems to break from dry firing excessively “first” in my opinion, then you need to really give it a good once over, because it’s probably time for a few other things to be tuned up. but I only shoot Rugers so what do I know lol 😂
I got mine many years ago. It came with a yellow plastic ring that went over the cylinder for dry firing. You can see the discoloration where the firing pin hits
Small tip when shooting airsoft guns at anything not made of flesh... keep your nads out of direct line of sight from what you are shooting... the ricochets love 1 of 2 things, hitting windows and scaring you into thinking you broke something... or they ricochet right at the nads.. i nearly did so with my 300fps bolt action
My only gripe with the smoke wagon is the lack of hop up. Makes distance shooting with it a little harder than other airsoft revolvers. Other than that, I love the thing and it's my go to piece when I play. Parts are mostly available for any repairs, uses common 12g CO2 cartridges, fairly affordable and always a head turner at the fields. Probably why I have about 10 in my collection. Honestly, I bought 4 of them just for parts.
Selling a shot playing card is a little silly. Regardless, it's cool to see that people are still interested in the ways of the old west. It really shows how much we've advanced in firearm technology.
It would be silly for YOU to try to sell a playing card you shot because no one knows who you are. I am known worldwide, and my shot cards sell in minutes. 😊
The air replicas are being used more and more in force on force training since the powers that be decided to restrict Simmunition. There's no reason they can't be a fun supplement to western shooting too. Nice work as always.
I have been shooting these Co2 revolvers since 2015. I prefer the bb/ pellet versions. For bb/pellet/airsoft they are for the money really good quality. My first revolver which has had over 15000 shots put thru it has proved quite reliable. The only breakage was the bolt spring and you can buy parts here in the USA for these pistols. I have only done quick draw with these guns. Do not fan . It will break the hammer spring. Thumbing works best.
I think the airsofts are pretty fun. You can do all the fancy gun tricks without risk of damaging a real firearm or hurting yourself (though you should always have your firearm unloaded if you are doing anything unsafe like tricks)
I got the exact same Airsoft One. But i'm modified it. I open it up and cut the springstoper Ore what you call it so that Hammer hits Harder which make more co2 come true increases FPS also the Hammer goes almost all the way now less gap. And then I cut a little bit on top of the Hammer because Gloves would always get stuck even with a smaller gap. Then I file the noches Simulator like you works great I can do Double Shot no problem, triple shot still working on it :) the spring is a little hard but it needs to be to get the higher FPS. Sometimes i get lucky and pull off a triple shot. And Steel bullets with higher FPS is pretty fun. Love your videos by the way that's whye I got one. i'm 40 and only use it on my property shooting cans and stuff so don't worry safety first👍
Also i'm notice when I cut the spring stop, I don't know what you call it I don't remember but the little metal Piece that goes into the noches it pushes Harder Ghost further up into the noches when you have the Hammer go further. Been using it for Quiet a wild no damage yet what I can tell.
There's a different version I thought about, but decided against. I don't want to get into the bad habit of treating any firearm like a toy, even a toy firearm, but having a toy firearm you might get into the habit even if you don't want to. So I decided against any kind of super accurate look or feel alike. But that's just me, each to his own. I still want one.
i´m Danish here we dont need the orange tip i bought the blued finish from Japan so gorgeous mine you load in the front mine you also can use the ejecting rod as well

I realize you have a certain style and desire for specific wheel guns but do you have any hands on experience with the S&W 929 or the 627 V-comp? Just wanting a decent plinking revolver for the range, something that says "dam that's nice" but it also shoots like a dream. Any other ideas im open ears as the SAO style had me intrigued too!
I have never owned a double action revolver but I have shot a few SW double actions. So I'm not an authority on them. For single actions my favorite is the Pietta GW2 line. $450-800
👨🏽💻Not sure if the topic has come up before? But, the Army crossdraw holster. Is that a thing because of riding horses with a saber? Were they trained to fire left-handed? Why don't you see the same popularity in civilian carry?
I have seen some of your videos and they are great! I have one of these airsoft SAA revolvers and I love taking it to airsoft games but I was always afraid to try fanning it so it might break. Do you think it would stand or does it need some modifications?
Mine doesn't fan very well, the action is quite stiff. I think it would get damaged and not function well with hard fanning. I was only able to fan it slowly. A better quality airsoft might work better.
Thank you for your answer! Yes it is very stiff. Do you think changing the hammer spring to a softer one would help maybe? I don't think it is necessary to be that hard to pull. Or do you think it would ruin the mechanism that is controllong the gas flow? Because I owned a lot of airsoft guns and I have seen a lot of stupid and unnecessary things that manufacturers do to make something look or feel the same as the real one.@@TUCOtheratt
@@marcushun5195 I know a lot about SAA firearms but not much yet about Airsofts. The internals are quite different on mine compared to a real one. The good news is that they are comparatively cheap so mistakes are not as costly.
Nice video chief. Love the imaginary banter with side kick. Also wanted to say that, I'm sorry you have trouble with the youtube bandits. So stupid people that seem to put so much work in to stealing people's stuff.
Cowboy action guns get tuning jobs not race jobs. Race jobs make the gun fan-able. No the cylinder work doesn't require re-blueing. The blueing always wears off the leads anyway, even on stock guns.
You can own black powder pistols in the UK as they are classed as antiques, a single action navy percussion cap would be legal but as soon as you go cartridge it's illegal. I mean you can actually own a 1911 for example but it needs an extension bar on it and a overall barrel length of 1 foot so it's non concealable plus it needs to remain on range grounds. Any sort of rifle in terms of bolt, lever, pump or muzzle loader in any caliber is legal (certificate required) so a lee enfield no4 mk1 would be obtainable, shotguns both pump and lever and double or single barrel are legal ( certificate required) it is possible to own firearms in England it's just there is alot of laws to get around.
Im assuming indoor field? Also there are some tutorials online on how to adjust them, but I'm sure disassembling a brand new airsoft gun is not the most fun thing.
@@trevorwhitham6742 it says 410-430, could definitely be lowered. There is a tutorial on TH-cam to lower FPS. Probably could shoot higher or lower depending on temperature.

0:55 Trevor?
👨🏽💻Not sure if the topic has come up before? But, the Army crossdraw holster. Is that a thing because of riding horses with a saber? Were they trained to fire left-handed? Why don't you see the same popularity in civilian carry?
Believe it or not, but in South Australia you actually have to do a course, have a licence, register an airsoft gun and keep it in a gun safe! True!!
The Canadian and Australian governments have lost their minds. You folks need to elect Trump next time. : )
guy's gone full tf2 soldier in the start
See my mule, he don't like people laughing at him...but if you apologize, like I know you're going to...
Like dancing with your sister , greetings from Australia 😊
The pellet shooter has a Bisley style grip
Seems like that would be good practice for kids to train them to use guns.
Airsoft in wind like that. Hard
I have a couple CO2 revolvers and they are just as real as the real deal, only not super lethal when discharged by accident. Just a little sting
Question for the cowboy action guys and gals. Does doing race gun mods, specifically the cylinder cuts, on a blued gun require any re-finishing?
Cowboy action guns get tuning jobs not race jobs. Race jobs make the gun fan-able. No the cylinder work doesn't require re-blueing. The blueing always wears off the leads anyway, even on stock guns.
@TUCOtheratt thank you for clearing up the confusion and for answering!
"I don't think it's nice you laughing"... Saw what you did there...
I'm from the uk these are the closest things I can get to the real thing
You can own black powder pistols in the UK as they are classed as antiques, a single action navy percussion cap would be legal but as soon as you go cartridge it's illegal. I mean you can actually own a 1911 for example but it needs an extension bar on it and a overall barrel length of 1 foot so it's non concealable plus it needs to remain on range grounds. Any sort of rifle in terms of bolt, lever, pump or muzzle loader in any caliber is legal (certificate required) so a lee enfield no4 mk1 would be obtainable, shotguns both pump and lever and double or single barrel are legal ( certificate required) it is possible to own firearms in England it's just there is alot of laws to get around.
he genuinely looks like Dutch Van Der Linde
The CO2 one looks to have a Bisley grip
8:30 causally becomes Clint Eastwood
He used dead eye
Dare you to try and convert it into a race gun.
Best way to practice the speed shot you do? I got a 22 to practice with
Hola Tucco. Esos revólveres son legales en países como el mio en el que están prohibidas las armas de fuego???
It depends on your country. But yes they are legal in many countries that don't allow firearms.
Because the nagant revolver airsoft version shoots too hot for field use I think I’ll probably buy this in its place
Im assuming indoor field? Also there are some tutorials online on how to adjust them, but I'm sure disassembling a brand new airsoft gun is not the most fun thing.
@ no it’s out door
The stats on evike said up to 500 fps
@@trevorwhitham6742 it says 410-430, could definitely be lowered. There is a tutorial on TH-cam to lower FPS. Probably could shoot higher or lower depending on temperature.
@@trevorwhitham6742 personally I plan on getting a C96 for a post Western style set up though, but a Colt or Nagant would be cool too.
which one is easier to spin/do tricks with in your opinion?
Airsoft is lighter/easier
Coud it an alternative to a real thing for handling practice?
It's great for everything except learning to manage recoil. But great for drawing fanning spinning etc.
