    Hello
    I have a question about flipping the monitor for virtual games , I added a pandora box for it but the image is still as horizontal is there anyway to fix it to make it vertical since I flip the monitor or I should buy the original pcb board like for vertical games
    I’ll be glade to hear from you
    Thanks

    • @BNGamesYT
      @BNGamesYT  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The issue is with the Pandora itself not the monitor. In reality all your doing is physically flipping a TV on its side because a game you want to play like a Shmup was designed to play in that direct and orients itself that way. Im not sure if the new Pandora's allow you to flip the image in the correct position, but the Pandora's are garbage boxes overall. A real game PCB doesnt need you to reorient in the game itself, you just switch the monitor around and readjust the fine tuning with the monitor controls. Id tell you to look up your version pandora's guide and see if there is a menu setting to flip it, but I doubt it.

      Use hyperspin pc witjh j.pac..recalbox or other.
      Latest Pandora are fine...but it's not real jamma but chamma and all games are horizontal.

    I have a question. I plan on buying a candy cab aswell. It is the same one. Now you said it plays every game except the cps2 stuff. I want to play some old cave games via original boards. which are ibara, esp.ra.de and guwange.
    My question is. I know it sounds dumb but: Is the full arcade system installed already? Like I need to buy the pcbs only.
    Power supply ,system, (audio must be edited as far as I know) and a stepdown because I live in germany.

    • @BNGamesYT
      @BNGamesYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey dude, so Arcade games are very complicated. The Egret II can play MOST Arcade Games if you have the right board. The problem is its not completely universal. The Cabinet usually comes with the correct power supply to run the game, and your right you will need the power converter so you don't fry the whole thing when you plug it in.
      I have CPS2 boards which work fine, it currently has a CPS3 Third Strike in it but if you go with something like a Sega Naomi for example you need a separate power supply and an Sega IO board to run the Naomi etc. Any and EVERY game you want to stick in the cab you are going to want to be sure to research before buying to see if it will work for you.
      Now I would highly recommend you watch my video on my channel called Introduction to Arcades where I go over alot of the basics and some troubleshooting aspects I have gone through myself. If you are not subscribed it is literally my youtube "trailer" video and will play automatically. If not on my page I have a playlist called "Arcade Candy" where I go over ALOT of stuff in detail on these machines including the video I just decribed. Check that out and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
      My parting advice is to consider that Arcade Machines are an expensive and often frustrating hobby. Nothing is universal, nothing is simple, and you will inevitably run into major issues that will make you want to drop the hobby at one time or another especially when some rare expensive part or game dies and you can't get it back without mucho $$$$. Good luck dude!

      So I just saw your the videos you mentioned. So the basically the display hardware is already included. With the game's hardware being the last thing you need. This cabinet looks like it is built specifically to be easy to use. I mean you got all there in the control panel and all parts are seperated enough so that a replacement can be fairly easy done.
      But again..I don't have a cab and there might be trouble along the way.
      In the end it must be worth the effort though. I mean you have the real deal right here.

    • @BNGamesYT
      @BNGamesYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      lol yea, I just like to warn of the impending troubleshooting. Its not for everyone.

    • @Seriousbomb54
      @Seriousbomb54 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know. I still have a pc nearby with games on it. so if I have trouble setting the thing up I could research ithe internet and fix the other over time. You said you use a lot of forum. So when I have trouble the forums gonna be the first thing I look at. I know that there are problems that occur. I am sure I understand all of it before I get myself one. But I think if I wanna get an expert in that area I have to own one myself.
      I should be able to withstand these problems. but we gonna see. I am in no hurry.

    I will have a blast city.
    So..(I'm more familliar with new astro..but the blast as 15/24/31khz and better sound).
    I just need a jvs/jamma adaptor..to play pcb jamma (according with kick harness..and cps adaptator too)..and just need a vga and cinch stereo to connect a pc in 640/480 max to hyperspin..right?
    I will use it since Willow to..Deathsmiles..cotton 2..guilty gear..kof 2002 u.m...sf4..
    Thanks.

    • @BNGamesYT
      @BNGamesYT  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      fatalfury1994 many Blast City’s were converted to Jamma specifically, you’ll need to check that. I have an Atomiswave which is similar to your blast and was preconverted before I got it. I’ve done a ton of arcade video since this one going over multiple aspects. Personally I would recommend that you stay away from multi boards because most of them are garbage. I even did a video which is on my channel going over the adapter and the poor emulation those multi boards have. Check them out, the playlist is called “Arcade Candy” on my channel and let me know if you have any questions.

      @@BNGamesYT thanks..fast response.
      I already bought a jvs/jamma and a jamma/pc adaptator (I know I can use the vga directly but somes uses a "scaler" to have a better quality.
      I already have a Combo a.v a old childhood dream but toooo expensive back then if you check my channel.
      So I use somes reals boards,a pandora and mame with a android box.
      It's fine..with friends..home cinema and big tv...but it's not the same fetish feeling with a old cab.
      I just hope to not have big issues with it..
