Great finds!🎉 love the angel wing and the alphabet! But your pictures and the wild life view was my favorite! Thanks to you im adding new places to our family fun day list! Be blessed! Thanks for the Bible verse!
Awesome! There are so many little places here in FL to go shelling. I love this state. Shame I've lived here basically all my life wanting to "move" nort and it's only in the past few years fell in love with shelling. Allllllllll that time on my hands when I first got married (over 20yrs ago) and moved to the coast and remember wishing the days aways sometime I was so board....mercy! I could have been beachcombing all that time 😭 But everything in its season.
🙋Hello from Cairo Ga. I love your channel. So relaxing! Truely gets me away from here for a few mins. I love all the shells and the places you go. I sure wished I was there with you having fun. Pray God keeps you safe and blessed you abundantly. Thank you sister for a wonderful, beautiful beach walk. 🥰
Hello Sandy! Oh I'm so happy you are loving the channel and for this comment! To be honest, it gets me away too reliving these walks through the editing process. Thank you for your well wishes--God is SO good! May you be blessed as well, just had the urge to pray for you too. Blessing always!
Oh you should! I can’t wait till I go back and see how Ian has changed the area. I heard a lot of the trees and bushes hot wiped out 😭 but that the shelling is still great there 👍🏼🐚
Awesome! I’ll try to keep providing content each Sunday; maybe not every Sunday as life can get crazy for me in the summer between working and I lead out Vacation Bible school at my church. God is good and I’ve been enjoying providing this channel so much 🐚
Little Hickory is one of my favorite local beaches. Looking for shell treasures in those ripples is so much fun. Hurricane Ian hit this beach hard so all of the beautiful foliage is gone as well as the covered picnic area by the parking lot. It’s still a lovely beach to explore.
Oh no 😭. Just looking at iMaps I saw the difference (the Google Earth was still rendering how I shelled it). I plan next month to get back over there to check it out. I have kayaked Big Hick and shelled over there too-would like to do that again at the same time. What a blessing for you to be local ❤️🐚 Thx for watching and your comment 👍🏼
I had one of the largest Arcidae collections in Europe. In the Caribbean region there are a number of true Arks, Barbatia, and my favorites, the Anadara species. Anadara secticostata (cut ribbed), transeversa (transverse arkk), notabilis, brasiliana and Anadara hemidesmos (jamaicana). Then there is the abundant Noetia ponderosa (Ponderous Ark), which is not a true ark. Florida has got a nice fossil record of all kinds of Noetia ponderosa varieties, even maybe different species. I would have collected a bag full of those Transverse Arks if I would have had the chance back in the day... even though I have never travelled abroad.
Oh wow! At the time I didn’t have my eye on the arks but I do now-they are great sturdy shells (most of them) I’ve been using lately for keychain projects 👍🏼🐚 Thank you for the information here you provided and thx for watching!
What a beautiful couple days exploring the beach! I absolutely love going to this beach! How long ago was this adventure? Beautiful moons and cones not to mention the awesome critters 💕
Thanks for watching! Nature is amazing. A couple years ago; another viewer let me know how different it is now after Ian as that is a favored spot of theirs too. I'd like to go back this summer and check it out now that I can get out again (had a surprise baby in 2022). I could see from google maps that it whipped clean of foliage and the public park there was gone and they redid it--you can see piles of sand from google maps on the beach. Mercy Ian sure has changed the face of many beaches in its path. I'm glad I had this footage of a couple walks over there to share before Ian. I have one other beach walk later that I'll share of Big Hickory Island too before Ian. Happy Shelling!
@@FloridaBeachWalks it most definitely has changed, I didn’t live here prior to Ian so I only know what I see now . Still is very beautiful and a place I visit about twice a week. Thank you again for sharing!
@@saraclark8611 Oh ENJOY! What a blessing to live so close! I love where we are but I tell my husband jokingly "we are on the wrong side of the state" lol but I do love to travel and I like the cold crisp water of the east coast in the dead of summer ❤🐚
I wish I'd been walking behind you when you put back that FF Conch at the beginning with all the purple on it. Now that was some beautiful color. Your albino didn't look so albino from this side of the screen with the tan lines on it.
😝 I was thinking that same thing when watching it back (the FFC) but looking at the surrounding video my hands were very purple too, so I think it was a color distortion 👍🏼 The white had a tad of cream but in my book it’s albino 🤣🤷🏽♀️😍 Thx so much for watching and take care!
I loveee snails. I live near the area, is this place congested with people? I would love to go shelling but I am not sure i will be comfortable having people look at me while im doing it. I’m assuming you’re doing this at 5-6am, so maybe there won’t be a lot of people?
Yes, the times I have been there it has been about 40 minutes before sunrise and there’s not very many people there but when I leave, there’s usually quite a few people. So your best bet to avoid a bunch of crowds is early in the morning, preferably even on a weekday.
Interesting what d*ath leaves behind--beautiful houses once homes to living creatures. So fascinating to living humans. And when a human passes the bones are left behind.
Yes 👍🏼 just been suffering from allergies this past week pretty bad-but the show must go on ❤️ I’m still battling it but getting better so hopefully next time I’ll be better sounding 🙃

a terrific adventure and a Happy Mother's Day to you Roxanne
Thank you and thank you 😊 Blessings!
Such beautiful shells there! I loved everything you found! I look forward to Sunday for my virtual shell walks.

Loving that clear, shallow water, great for shelling ❤
I like shelling in areas like that...it adds to the fun of the hunt :-) Thx for watching!
I am really enjoying your videos. It is so refreshing to see someone who enjoys the beauty of God’s creation.
Oh thank you so much for watching! I’m so happy you are enjoying the channel ❤️ Yes, praise God for all He has provided in nature for our enjoyment.

Where did you park?
Free parking beach access spot very north…walked a long way. 👍🏼

It is. Shelling for me anyway is partly finding "beauty" in death although when I find the live critter it is so fascinating to me. Thx for watching.
You ok sis? Your voice sounds a little hoarse. ❤
