Yeah, in illegally operated dispensaries (non-license). July 1st made prop 64 official, it's currently in place now so expect most of these store fronts to get shut down. They want to tax it, limit the amount of THC, and only allow big wigs to run the operations. The black market will stay healthy as a result. All of the licensed clinics make you pay 3 taxes and add your name to a database.

Street pharmacist aren't taking a short cut. They are already doing it. Just because the gov decided to allow it doesn't mean they are taking a short cut. They are still in business. Now of course they should get licensed and go legit because the opportunity is seemingly there and it's worth it.
Cali was so much better off when the laws had weed was sold as medicinal-only instead fully legalized. The only real change that happened from "medicinal-only" going to "fully legal" is now no card is needed to go in a shop but the state now gets to fuck it up by putting regulations on everything, raising prices, outlawing stronger weeds strains, and reducing number of shops.
