THIS is the kind of interviewer I want to see but somehow James almost never gets: professional, friendly, polite, not talking over James, or interrupting him, or launching into a monologue when people wants to listen to James and not the interviewer. Why is this kind of professional attitude so goddamn rare? And James is so lovely in this. He just has this sort of charismatic and boyish charm about him. He's so intelligent and thoughtful too. I love him!

Minus the coarse lingo, my thoughts exactly! He's incredibly intelligent and articulate, with such a great light-hearted personality. Anybody would be lucky to call him friend.

I've never taken the acting profession so seriously, but when I hear James speak, I realize that there's just so much more to the industry than glamour and reading lines to the camera. I know it sounds negligent on my part, but this guy is so passionate about his work that he's planted the seed of appreciation towards acting, in his fans. And I think that's what's even more incredible about him. :)

SitShift very well put. 💖 I wholely agree. He certainly puts acting in a scholarly light that doesn't come across so easily in others.

James is charming, witty, and articulate which makes for a very interesting interview. He has the ability to pique your interest, therefore more people should have the opportunity to hear him communicate, and can be hilarious.

The interviewer was rather good, he was neither artificially overexcited nor uninterested, seemed honestly amused and he let him take his time without intervening when the answers became a bit longer. However, and this was probably not his fault, the questions were weirdly fixated on the difference between American and British things. Which is interesting for one or two questions, but it was a bit much. But yeah, the interview was overall quite good.

He was kind of a snob.
He skipped over ‘narnia’ which is how most people know James, and James brought it up
On his own. (Which made me happy
That he’s ok talking about it)

James is an amazing storyteller, his whole existence draws you to listen, watch and be moved by him in everything he does. He lights up the work behind the glamour in acting without all those method cr@p that are usually academy prefered. A real, talented and hardworking actor. It is a true honor to enjoy his craftsmanship.

Jame is an incredibly talented actor, definitely with a broad range of ability, but we enjoy watching him perform in romantic stories mostly. I think because of the depth of his emotions are exhibited, and he has a naturally, genuinely kind and loving face.

always in a dilemma as to whether i should watch him talk or listen to what he says - cant do both cos his charm is so distracting, and he's so witty and interesting - what a paradox

    • @joycejohnson7164

+Ramya Ranganath Listening to what he says can be challenging with that accent (beautiful as it may be). But I find I have to r e a l l y pay attention to figure out what he is saying. Wonderful actor--have you seen him cry at the drop of a hat (Graham Norton)? The man can act! Last King of Scotland! WOW!

    • @ravn87
      @ravn87 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Not really a paradox, just a rare and incredible personality. I hope he stays around for years. Thankfully I've grown up a fan of both the Scottish and Irish accents, so it's not hard for me to understand him. I love how easily he explains things for us, but he is so invigorating and youthful. I love his personality.

@@ravn87 I never grew up around those accents but I understand him well. He really isn't difficult to understand and is that rare blend of intelligence and charm and good looks. He can do no wrong in my eyes.
