If the local bus app didn't let you type in the right place, it probably meant that your bus app was too local 😄 You probably had Oulu area bus app, not Rovaniemi area one. Oh and it's actually opposite of what people say to you: Finns are nice and loyal and all that good stuff. We just aren't "polite" in a sense of making small talk etc. We are polite by leaving you to your own peace when we don't have a need to actually communicate with you about something.
i love helsinki because if you know where to go, there is something happening almost every day. helsinki is just the right size of town when you know where to go. zero danger. stuff happening. REALLY cheap when you know how.
There are some things about winter in Helsinki which I detest and one of them is dudes who drive snow plows and block my driveway. Sometimes those despicable gremlins plow 2 feet of hard packed snow from the road and sidewalk to the driveway, fortunately last winter was my final winter in Helsinki since I'm moving to the countryside and there my neighbor plows the road and my driveway.
would catholics have more restrictions of the materials you can have the ... was it nativity .. something ... .... ok this just sounds so weird. why not ice? is it that you can only have a specific wood you use? i don´t get it
I've live on Rovaniemi about 21 yrs for now and I won't move anywhere from here. This is very nice place to live. December this city is full on tourists and as we say you hardly can hear Finnish language on downtown.. 😂
there are almost no muggings in finland because nobody HAS to mug to be able to live. the only muggings are mostly teenagers who take influence of american gang culture ONLY because they think it´s cool. american culture.
