1. They talked about about moving from 85kg to 96kg and how did he add weight. Basically Tian said that first he ate more protein and more meals to gain, and added volume to his training. He doesn't train in the morning and all his training is done in the afternoon. He basically double his set numbers to gain muscle instead just packing on fat and focused more on core strength and small muscle groups. He's trying to recomp and but he doesn't run to lose fat because it hurts his knees. 2. They talked about his opponents, namely Rostami, Moradi, and Meso (Tian called him the Afro lol). He said even though he lost to Moradi in 2018 he was happy with the results. Interviewers said they were impressed by the easy 236kg clean. Then Tian said he doesn't really care about his rivals and look at their numbers they put up in training and he just really focuses on his own training because if he trained well he will believe he can put up those numbers in competition and if he's not on their level, watching their posts won't help him to improve himself. 3. They talked about his squats, legs, pulls. Tian said he trains his legs very casually. He only needs 7 minutes to warm up from an empty bar to his max squat and he always train singles and never sets of multiple reps for squats. They mentioned Toshiki's 20 reps of 200kg and Tian said that's not his style and if he wants he can do 270kg for 10 but he doesn't need more leg muscle because he can't find pants that fit him. Also he did a set of 7 reps and his legs were sore for 3 days. They talked about his max squat and Tian said 320kg back squat and 290kg front squat. Tian said he doesn't post any of his pulls on social media because he is weak in it and even Shi Zhiyong probably has better numbers than him. His lower back strength is his weak point because he has a long torso.
