She says stuff like that all the time and the writers split Moira and Cain up once before and it didn't go down well when they tried to put Cain and Charity back together so I don't think they'll play that out again. I think it's more a case of Cain and Charity have been on and off since they were kids so it's kind of like they'll always share a connection unlike most exes so that will never be off the table but I genuinely don't see it fitting in with the direction they're taking either character.
1) This was an awesome show today. 2) It's a soap so there will inevitably be crazy things that happen to keep it fresh. Well after that interview on Lorraine, I'm more worried than ever that Vanity is going to fall apart, I really wish Emma had never said Cain was Charities soul mate. Even the dynamic between V and Charity have changed over the last couple episodes, Charity should have been pleased that Vanessa stood up to Cain in her honor, instead of that she defended Cain. I'm not liking the direction things are going at all.

Any attempt to glamorise a man who think's it's acceptable to pin a woman up against a wall, or sexually assault someone on the grounds that they are feeling depressed, is something I can do without. The whole vanity dynamic has changed during the last two episodes. It seems like Charities journey of self development is about to be binned, as she reverts to becoming the property of an unstable, violent and controlling man.

If the writers split Vanity up there will be a lot of pissed off fans. Coronation Street had controversy when Kate (a lesbian) kissed a guy after her and Rana got engaged. Thankful Kana are together for now, but as a lesbian I really hate the love triangle scenarios that include a man causing trouble with a lesbian couple. Can shows just leave the guy out of it or eliminate him altogether when 2 women are in love and engaged. I know this is a soap opera and drama is what these soaps are mostly about, but ruining a fan favorite couple for ratings gets old. A lot of people who love Vanity would likely stop watching if they split for good.
