Hi Dr. A quick question. What happens if your dependent variables and moderationg variables are latent variable. How can you make the multiplication? The video you presented coves a very simple moderation analysis. Looking forward to your informative another video.
@@MyEasyStatistics Thanks. Yet the mean value is calculated by assuming that factor loadings per each variable is equal to one. Hovever, in SEM values of the composite variables are not calculated this way. Composite variable regress on the observed variables based on their specific regression weight. I hope I was able to express my thoughts.
The table itself is a confusion of the highest order, read Awang, Z (2014). A handbook of SEM for academicians and practitioners. Go to chapter 7. Then come see the confusion
Hi Sathish, I wonder this analysis is individual level analysis, right? How about group level analysis with 3 moderators? Could you please give me some advice?
Thank you professor, I want know about these question: 1-Can we use Moderation Analysis with latent variables? 2-Can we use dummy variable as modertion variable? 3-Is Moderation Analysis is alternative way to Mediation Analysis?
Hi, I find myself struggling for the same quetsion. Have you figured out if this moderation analysis can be used with latent variables? I don't know if I should use multi-group analysis in AMOS or moderation analysis suggested in this video. Thanks a lot.
I have a question: First of all, I really appreciate if you could help me out. Info about my conceptual model: Moderator = Social Capital IV = entrepreneurial intention DV = entrepreneurial behavior Hypothesis 1: There is a positive relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurial behaviour. Hypothesis 2: An increase in social capital positively affects entrepreneurial intentions. Hypothesis 3: Social capital positively moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurial behaviour My question is how to test H2 because I find many tutorials on how I test H1 and H3 with Structural equation modeling (SEM) but I can't find anything about H2. Could you help me out?
@@MyEasyStatistics Thanks for your fast response? Isn't it also possible to just see what the effect of social capital on entrepreneurial intention is?
please how can i get the significance of all the model in amos, in spss we depend on the significane of F value, but i don't know how can i get it in amos, thank you
about the moderation effect... What happens when the independant variable AND the moderation variable AREN'T significant, but the interaction variable IS significant ?
Sir how can we interpret the values given "estimates" column and table Regression weight(group number 1- default model). Or are these values meaningless?
Sir, if the independent variable and interaction variable have a significant effect and the moderation variable doesn't have a significant effect then what we conclude? is there any moderation effect or not?
@@MyEasyStatistics i understand if the interaction variable is not significant there is no moderation effect. could you elaborate on the above comment - why if the independent variable & interaction variable are significant why is there no moderation effect? what about if only interaction variable is significant? is that even possible or makes no sense? thank you

Love the fact that this video is concise(not too long and dragging), and yet explains most of it. Thank you.
This video was very helpful. Thank you sir!
Excellent Presentation!
Its really a one more fantastic video from you.
Thank u sathish sir.

EXCELLENT
Thank You Sir ..So well Explanation..
Thank you and easy to understand!

Kindly explain it through Structural equation model.

How to check moderation impact with demographic variables like gender, ages, etc?
Brilliant video, so to calculate the moderating variable interaction is just simply by multiples the two independent variables?
Hi Dr. A quick question. What happens if your dependent variables and moderationg variables are latent variable. How can you make the multiplication? The video you presented coves a very simple moderation analysis. Looking forward to your informative another video.
Take the mean value of the moderater variable

May I ask, if I have 1 moderator factor, 1 dependent factor, and various independent ones. Should I run group by group or a whole at the same time?
It depends on your model
@@MyEasyStatistics Can you explain more? 🥲
Very nice and easily explained...but what is the reference of the table explaining moderation interpretation?
The table itself is a confusion of the highest order, read Awang, Z (2014). A handbook of SEM for academicians and practitioners. Go to chapter 7. Then come see the confusion
I have a model where I expect a moderator variable to have an effect on more than one variable. None of my variables are binary. What should I do.
Thank you

In moderation effect, you can not study the impact of moderate on independent variable. Change your model according to your objectives
@@MyEasyStatistics Thanks for your fast response? Isn't it also possible to just see what the effect of social capital on entrepreneurial intention is?

Hi can you explain how to do when 1 factor act as an moderating variable for mode than one independent variables
at 2:15 what number are you multiple sir? Is it the total of item of each variable or the mean???
How do we cite this method in the study? Please reply

continuous variables changed to nominal at the end- coefficient should be used instead

How do you draw the graph?
