Xmanny, I really don't know why I bother to watch other TH-camrs. Your reviews are ALWAYS the best! Your recreation of the OG Giant-Man BAF wave was brilliant!!
@Xmanny87 did the same, but it wasn’t working out and then saw a video where this dude said you can take the hands out and I left them in hot water for a long while and to my surprise, they worked better than the big man sitting down getting a pedicure 😂
The look of dissapointment on Janet's face in the thumbnail due to QC issues. They should send us the Skrull head, along with the replacement eyes since they botched them and we have to request/wait for new ones.
The Marvel Zombies run is one of my all-time favorites so my only major complaint (other than the QC eyes and the Dwight-neck) is that they went with the What If cartoon green zombie color to match all those, even though those figures are all MCU costumes and this is comic so that doesn’t work. I’ll be repainting it so it’s not the biggest deal, but still kinda whack.
Excellent review XManny. Essentially a giant-sized Marvel Legend, the team at Hasbro produced a very attractive product. Unlike the Sentinel or Galactus, there are very few options given to enhance this character beyond a swappable face. A sense of shame is felt witnessing the QC issues and one might suspect the swappable hands were not designed as it could lower the production costs - thus lowering the overall price of the final product. Although I didn't support this campaign (I don't have the real estate for it) I am just as conflicted as you are - only from a different perspective. These campaigns should be about producing the most prestigious examples of the brand. I couldn't say Giant-Man reached that level. Thanks for your review man.
I’ve had fused knee joints on a marvel legends figure before and it ended up breaking. Bbts replaced those thankfully. I agree gummy plastic shouldn’t be included on a haslab. I enjoy your reviews and appreciate your take on the matter. Please keep us updated regarding the eye replacements and the hand. I still haven’t received my giant man 🤞
Man that Giant Man figure looks very great especially that sculpted texture, a little bit black shadowing, and looking classic, While I wished I backed it I just don't really have the room, space and budget for a huge figure, Awesome review on Hank Pym aka Giant Man.
I would love to see someone with the required money and skills modify this to create an Erik Josten Goliath figure. That would be even more appropriate than Pym wearing this costume while being that huge. Since I have none of those two requirements, I will have to be happy with just one copy of the regular HasLab version.
Rolling eyes should’ve been the obvious option for this haslab. Plenty of 1:12 scale figures get this right. This would’ve been a perfect time for that. OR do what Jakks Pacific did with the Mario figures where the pupils are recessed and it looks like they follow you depending on your angle. I would’ve like also like shoulders that sit higher
This Giant-Man should’ve came with alternate hands rather than articulated fingers, and movable eyes to move around. Sacrifice pre-posed so we could’ve gotten the skrull head. To sum it up. Interchangeable hands, posable movable eyes, and a skrull head
I hope you kept the shipper box’s man, they made me send the entire figure back not just the hand. They did send a label so it shouldn’t cost you any shipping. We should get replacements the same time we get the right eyes. Take care man.
Giant Janet so we could have her final moments from Secret Invasion, right? (Or to use her as background for a Mighty Avengers scene, with Hank as the new Wasp.)
Thx for the review although it is a little weird watching you show the articulation on a child size figure. Mine has the really gummy fingers too. Really disappointed.
I don't think ANYONE got the straight eyes. It was a mistake across the board. At least Hasbro will send us the correct eyes in December--provided that you contact them, send them a photo, and give them your order number. If you do that, they will follow up with a message saying you'll get replacement eyes--correct eyes--in mid December. If you don't contact them, you won't receive them. When you get a replacement Giant Man from Hasbro, I recommend that you put the arm out parallel to the floor, and then you can rotating each finger tips joint 180 so that the bottom of the finger tip is facing upward towards the ceiling. Sounds crazy, but hear me out. Then, bend that finger tip joint upward, towards you and the ceiling. I think you'll find that it's easy to bend from this direction, and causes far less stress on the peg in the joint. That will probably work a lot better for you. You can do this for all of the finger joints. Once you have bent the joint upwards in the position you desire, you can then rotate the finger tip joint back around so that it is facing the floor into the correct position. That's how I managed to do it. It worked without stressing the plastic pegs in the joints, and I didn't even use a blowdryer or hot water. It worked well for me. Right away, I could tell that those joints were going to be fragile. TOO FRAGILE, IMO for a Haslab!! Regardless, that's the work around that I came up with, and nothing got damaged, Manny. I hope that'll help you out with your replacement figure's hands.
Cant wait for someone to make 3d printed pre-posed hands and maybe an unmasked head sculpt
🎶Our worlds about to break tormented and attacked🎶
I understood that reference 😉.
@ 😂
I’ve had that song stuck in my head for a week now lol
I have that song on my Spotify playlist…🤘

Found out that the hands can be removed out and dump them in some hot water and everything was gravy😜
I didn’t take them out completely but I had him in a sitting position with his hands dipped into cups of hot water lol

Gummy plastic (as bad as Hasbro’s is) shouldn’t be on any figure marketed as “collectible”.
A nice future bonus accessory would be an unmask hair piece. That way you can display Giant Man with that creepy smile holding his mask/ helmet. 👌👌

Thanks man! Yeah I love all the details and the shaders really brings out those details too and it’s so good looking.

Amazing review video!!!
Amazing details!!
I agree with the fingers problems.
👍👍🙌🙌👏👏
Thanks and yeah, the fingers suck. Besides that and the eyes, everything else is great.
@Xmanny87 I see and I agree

Not gonna lie, rebuilding the old toy biz and hasbro waves with modern figures sounds pretty interesting.
Great review manny!

Hasbro said eye replacements coming mid December but you have to send pics etc.
That's reassuring . Still can't see how that got past QC as it appears to be every single one.Someone over there needs to be suspended
@elonce01 Yeah would be nice to get the skrull face as an apology but highly doubtful
I heard. Waiting for them to get back to me since I’ve sent my pics for a replacement.
@@Xmanny87 Do you think they will replace the hand/fingers on your figure?
No pics needed AFAIK. I sent them my order # with my request, & that was sufficient
For what was paid there should be absolutely no QC issues .
Hasbro just needs to stop the crowd funding with Marvel .
Ms Marvel!
Good one
2:26 did l get you right, you received only two eye plates? My Giant-man includes four eye plates, one came with every swappable face!
Robo got straight eyeys
We need a new red she hulk 😢
We need a giant wasp and a giant black Goliath
Giant Janet so we could have her final moments from Secret Invasion, right?
(Or to use her as background for a Mighty Avengers scene, with Hank as the new Wasp.)
And like Manny said a giant yellow jacket
Thx for the review although it is a little weird watching you show the articulation on a child size figure. Mine has the really gummy fingers too. Really disappointed.
Too bad bout those 👁 👁
They should send us the skrull head with the replacement eyes & finger QC issues👎🏼
at this size and price they cant do a pair of adjustable eyea lmao. That is hasbro for ya.
Is this some kind of giant marvel legends of some man??
😂😂😂

Amazing review @Xmanny87
